I have been gathering information by watching this and other goal setting webinars. One I found interesting said you should focus on the why as much or more than the goal, as the why may help you keep going when your will power fails. (I think you had mentioned that 1 of the days of blogmas), They talked about positive and negative whys and for me, sometimes the negative ones are stonger. For example I want to lower my A1C (diabetes) back to normal 5.6 (yeah I am sure you are going to talk about SMART goals and whether that is attainable) a positive why l would be to lose my belly so I can hike further, a negative why would be to avoid losing a foot to amputation. A combination why would be knowing I can't hike at all on just one foot! My baby steps were to get up 1 hour earlier and do 20 min meditation, 20 min exercise, and 20 min tidy up, but I needed a reward so the tidy up was moved to the night before and the reward is 20 min drawing time with a coffee Caffine! I test drive it this week.
Lucky for me I dove head first into a cohort that organized and help me do so much of this!
How’s it going, Reinventers? What looks like the most challenging steps you face as you reinvent yourself? Let me know in the comments.

Good point on the why. I will cover something similar in an upcoming video about overcoming challenges and setbacks. Thanks for your feedback!
