Luckily for tourists, reaching the highest peak in Thailand is actually pretty easy. You can reach summit on a day trip from Chiang Mai, thanks to the steep road leading all the way to the top. But we decided to spend 2 days inside the national park to discover all of the best things to do in Doi Inthanon, beyond the highest spot in Thailand.

I have been to Chiang Mai many times (many years ago), but I didn't go to Doi Inthanon.
The monsoon season is not the right time for going there.
@@aurapopescu1875 The trek was worth the trip alone. FYI the peak of Doi Inthanon is often in cloud/fog even when it's not the monsoon season
