I feel people will get this just bc it's a DAC storage system. It's great quality and a cute color but for the price, realistically, you can buy 2 similar or even larger off of the competitor sites. I really luv containers that are Elizabeth Ward-ish so I bought 2 with points but DAC should be trying to compete or if anything, only be slightly higher - not drastically higher in price. I feel this will change and can't wait to see what's in store for storage options in the future for DP

I currently use the Procare seed container with 65 containers in 3 sizes. A lot cheaper and the case is good for travel too.

This just looks like the Elizabeth Ward Bead Storage containers... The EW are 1/2 the price, they have different set with various amounts of each size storage container, and you can buy additional storage containers separately if you need more of a specific size.

Thanks for sharing! I thought about buying it but for some reason it’s $75 CAD! Which is more expensive than the US price when you do the exchange rate. 😟. I will end up getting the Elizabeth ward one off of Amazon. Much cheaper!

Yes... I decided if I was going to spend that much.... I'd by the Cateared Trabricks. Regarding DAC'S prices... I noticed that as well... most of their prices are higher than the exchange rate. I was told it's to account for the custom duties we never have to pay.

EW containers are about €100 a tray in Europe. So I buy the much cheaper Chinese version, rip off or not

The quality looks decent but for the asking price it should come with twice as many containers so you can configure as needed for each project.

Its far too expensive for a kit up/down storage. For Australia its $80+ each. With the competiton for storage being what it is, its not a reasonable price.

Hello , thank you for the video . The storage box is very similar to the Elisabeth Ward system, which I prefer. The price of this box is much too high , but who needs it should get it 😅. Thanks again , Petra 😊

Love them but I could never justify them for that price. Its 75 canadian and I can get something very similar for less than half the price (around 30) so as much as I would love some DAC storage ill have to wait for the price to go down quite a bit and then hopefully get them when a good deal hits. Especially since Im going to want at least 2.

Totally agree! That is a hefty price for us Canadians. I would love to give this a go as I have 3 of the EW knockoffs and love them. And I would also need at least two of them.

They look really good quality and seem to fit the tray nicely. But not being able to buy the containers separately makes them much less versatile and useful than the Elizabeth Ward containers, so a clear no-buy. You never have diamond paintings with the exact colour/drill distribution you get containers for in these sets. Sometimes you have many colours with only a few drills each, so you need many small containers. Sometimes you have a huge amount of some colours, so you'd need more large containers. I don't like splitting up the drills of one colour into several containers, nor do I like many trays of 90% empty containers (unless the painting is almost finished, of course!). Think of the waste of money and space!
Speaking of money: These here are about 25% more expensive than the original Elizabeth Ward system, which I find quite expensive already (although I do have 5 of them because I find them very practical).

The EW is more affordable from what I have seen. The pink like I love but not sure that I will purchase. 6:17

This looks great, but I feel like it's too close to competitor products to justify the price.

  • @PDXMom

Agree with other comments about the cost. In addition, I wouldn’t want a pink lid because part of the reason we like the EW storage is because the containers are arranged lengthwise so the drills are more visible. A pink lid obv would make the diamond colors harder to see.

  • @cassc.1028

Not only does it cost more than the Elizabeth Ward system and respective knock offs, the containers are also sideways meaning DAC’s own labels would have to be sideways. A small nuisance but one I don’t have to deal with using the EW knockoffs I already have.

  • @tiny_turtles

I like the concept but it's not a realistic storage system for me. Most of my kits are 60+ colors. Also I usually have 4 wip at a time. The cost would be astronomical to get enough of these already expensive storage sets for all of my wip. Thanks for the preview though, I've been curious about them.

I bought 2, my colour spreads vary as high as 85, so having the multiple sizes will be great. I used points for a bigger discount and made it more accessible for me. Elizabeth Ward brand one for me are too expensive and not enough size variety.

Not many original ideas coming from dac recently. Copying other companies and passing it off as th3ir own ideas. I really like dac but they are overly price hiked. I will probably still buy the diamond paintings if I see one I love and the quality is good, but so are other premium companies and in the current financial climate the costs are unreasonable.

DAC made this container and anyone who has there kits don't have many colors with 54 there putting more colors so you would have to get 2 containers or more I think that's what they were figuring to get money .no thanks way to expensive

  • @kimofdiamondz
    @kimofdiamondz 3 месяца назад +18

They could have at least came up with their OWN design. They seem to be copying everyone else

I am disappointed in DAC for not answering my question about how the containers open. It’s unfortunate that the nail is used to open it. Elizabeth ward is the same and it is difficult to open with the fingernail. It will eventually lift the fingernail up over time.

A new diamond painter might get these but those who have tons of storage---- I dunno. I think itd be a waste of money IMHO.

All diamond art club did was steal the entire design away from “ Elizabeth ward” who is the real artist of these design containers diamond art club didn’t even bother to change their storage container design it’s literally the same exact box and design of the the Elizabeth ward containers
😒🤬diamond art club didn’t have permission from the actual creator for use of this design
