Receiver Comparison, Hammarlund SP-600, RACAL RA117, RA1772 and RA6790

Having hooked up these receivers to a common antenna through the Stancom multicoupler and connected the audio outputs to a 4 way monitor amplifier, I though it would be interesting to tune them to the same frequency and switch through each one and see what each sounds like. Which one sounds the best...??

I liked the Racal RA1772 the best.

I like the RACAL best I might be biased as I worked at RACAL Brants Bridge in BRACKNELL in the very late 70s I remember the RA1772, RA1072, and at Western Road on the 1860`s I was on production then and might have built yours you never know... :)
