G'day, Toy Man, and Karyn! Great video, guys! Hope you know... "You too are a great team!!" I also, enjoy seeing these glimpses into Garage Mahal. Reminds you of "Show-and-Tell" in which each participant produces an object of interest and tells something about it. (loved it!) By the way... Your Massive Model Train Project... (Answer: yes!) Keeps getting Better, and Better, And even Better!! Thank you very much! Cheers! 😊🏡❤🚂 P.S. I would tell you folks, my autumn joke, but you probably wouldn't fall for it. Lol!🤣

@@ToyManTelevision Yes! Your Welcome! It's a short, simple, informal greeting. It’s short for Good day. As in “hope you’re having a good day”.😊 It’s a nice term to put someone at ease.
Large scale model trains and classic Mustangs? Must be nice! I remember when G gauge was getting popular in the US, and always wanted to build an outdoor narrow-gauge logging railroad with geared locomotives. Nice to see all your work!
Fantastic!!!!!! I bet Karyn can make some Christmas wreaths out of the beads for the village for the holiday. Dale and Karyn, you are the Masters! How you are rebuilding this light pole is really cool. A great husband and wife team all the way around.
@@growclipbonsaiforseniors1951 Hi again!! Thanks! I was hoping to put up more Christmas lights today. But toooo cooooold. Anyway finished the light pole instead. Short if paint and the mounting system. Stay warm! Geeeezzzz.
this video was great! Love the informal style and it was nice to see progress on the railroad. As Fall and winter set in, biggest problem for me is deciding which projects to do first!
That was fun seeing what you are up to. That lamp post is going to look great when you put it out at Grapevine. The key chain beading project looks great. Nice dermal tool Karyn it saved the day. GOD BLESS 🚂💕🚂💕🚂💕🚂💕
Yes, this was fun. Good luck with all your projects (or the one big project ... however you look at it). I liked seeing the bead weaving. I am finishing up a doll, and clothes, all in beads. I find this art form very relaxing. Having the magnifiers on, with the light pointed on the beads, it allows me to really focus on the beads, and the outside world fades away. The beaded doll is a challenge (to myself) because a local art show took out doll making, but left bead weaving in.
Wow. Never give up. Actually you are making it better that factory made. Trainz has some great items and very accommodating if there should be a problem.
We covered most of that stuff in the collectors attic series. I think we covered all of those things. Sadly, we didn’t run any of them because we don’t have any place to run them!
Yep, the basic structure will remain but all the electrics including the plug at the base are all going to be different now. In fact, I’m getting rid of that base and replacing it with a through the benchwork base so that it just goes straight down onto the wood platform. Looks much better that way, but it requires a very stable mount. Because there’s wind, there’s snow, and of course there’s squirrels!
Nice to see you saved $20.00 bucks. Too bad you spent 3 or 4 days fixing the used/returned lamp. What the heck, you got nothing but time on your hands and you’ve got all winter to get things working! Such a deal!
@@DJPLAST2 well.. the goal is having fun! And cutting into $50 lamp isn’t something I’m comfortable with doing. But a free disused lamp… well SCORE! I’m about 5 days and $25 into it. But dang it’s FUN!
I have that same #488 and was wondering if you have been able to try it out all the way around your railroad? I have found my K36 needs a lot of room and very wide clearance. Have you found any issues yet?
That was my original plan but last night I hit on something different. Since the top comes off quite easily when changing the lightbulbs and so on, I’ve rigged up a sleeve so that the entire sign section just slides down over the post and then locks in place. Now that I say that out loud, I can see a serious problem with it! Sounds like I’m going to be redesigning again.
@ thought about that. But as long as I use the small electrical plug that can pass through the sleeve I can mount the signs on a tube and just slide it over the center pole. I built it last night and assembled the light except for the base which I haven’t built yet, anyway it works! I wish I could post a photo. Well I can! In the community tab!! I’ll try.
@@ToyManTelevision You should come by Rick Hansen's layout. That is my Dad and I's layout, while not near as impressive as Tim or Dicks we redid all of the landscaping in prep for the more permanent layout in the coming years.
The fact that I don't have the room to build f-scale means I am entirely living vicariously through this project lol

Are you planning to come to St. George area for the Color Country Model Railroad layout tour for this year? It is this week November 8-11
We have our room booked! It’s one of our favorite things to do every year! Sadly, two of our favorite railroads are not on the show this year. 😢
@@ToyManTelevision I have been going to it each year, but not all the layouts.
I have not seen one small enough but how about a spring clip to hold the sign onto the post. If you can't get one small enough you could make one.
