- My personal opinion on the samurai warriors characters, this is by no means a list on the best characters to play on the hardest difficulty, but a personal list.

Naomasa li as a low tier? The man literally does a Kamen Rider Kick as his musou frenzy attack. What else is there not to like about him?

He hate some characters because their poor moveset. Yet sometime he just simply didn't like them because their role? story?

were starting off this pretty rough Mitsunari is a douche but a likable one. Toyohisa needs work personality wise
This is really close to my own tier list, especially with the likes of Aya and Toshiie at the top and Mitsunari at the bottom. I'm also glad to see someone else feels the same way about Nobunaga's character degrading to being just a troll in SW4 after his great showing in SW3.
Also, the reason Munenori sides with Hisahide is merely an homage to history, where Munenori is more an amalgamation of himself and his father (Muneyoshi)
From my understanding Sakon joins Mitsunari because how far he is willing to go to get Sakon to join him. He is impressed with Mitsunari’s sincerity
this remind me of how Liu Bei is very serious to get Zhuge Liang. He visited him many times until finally Zhuge Liang want to join.
I'm glad you didn't forget Lady Muramatsu even though she's an NPC, haha. I hope they keep her for SW5 and make her playable. I could see her fighting with a decorative Naginata, or tiny Twin Fans (fightning in a graceful way).
Man how could not like the One Piece Nene wore on SW3 and Ieyasu has one of the most boring move set to me

If it was soley based on effective move sets, Nobunaga would be god tier.

Glad to see a video like this. Always interesting to see peoples thoughts on Koei's (admittedly) bloated Warriors rosters.
We have a lot of different thoughts in regards to characters but that's alrighty. I personally am found of Sakon, Motochika, and Motonori. I just like chill smart dudes really.
Ina and Noh are definitely ome of the more up their female characters since they atleast have their own independent stories unlike a lot of the wife characters.
Tbh, most of the 4 adds are pretty bland and umemorable to me with the worst offender probally being Takakage.
Keiji was about the only character I could use in samurai warriors 1 without worrying about min-maxing just to survive. I used to reset him just to take him to abyss, it was always fun even though I would never get to Lu-Bu...
I personally wish Oichi scored a little bit higher, but she doesn't use her kendama anymore so I'm just being a baby. I need to get further in spirits of Sanada, people said there weren't many characters but, if the day night cycle was exclusive to the game then they have quite a few I'm interested in seeing.
A lot of the characters I like story wise in Samurai Warriors, I like more combat wise in Sengoku Basara. Kenshin, Date, Yukimura, Shingen. So I know most of them are truly solid but. They just don't do it for me.
Yeah, I think Oichi should've scored higher. She has one of the best storylines with Nobunaga and Nagamasa. Really do miss her Kendama moveset tbh, I thought they'd give that to one of her daughters, but Chacha instead got the hairpin, which I don't mind also but perhaps we'll see a Kendama fighter soon.
I'm surprised that you didn't mention how much Katsuie Shibata was humanized from his UNPC to his playable status. He went from disposable mook to an actually decent personality and character with the whole 'old man clinging to his ways' sort of thing.
I’m glad there are other Toshiie fans out there! He’s definitely one of my favorites too. Overall very solid list! I would put Hideyoshi, Mitsuhide, Mitsunari, Motochika, and Motonari a lot higher ans Koshosho, Kunoichi, Keiji, and Hayakawa quite a bit lower
Great list. The only thing I’d change is moving Ginchiyo up to best tier. Her regular attack chain is basically a hyper attack but for officers with how fast, powerful and accurate it is and she’s a badass character throughout every game. She even gets a nice side mission I’m Spirit of Sanada

Why does everyone hate on 3? I think it's one of the best, it has good music and the character designs are pretty good. The only thing that i dislike about 3 is the weapon system.
Doesn't really help that it's only on the Wii it's so badly optimized and runs like shit.

And open battlefields, not like 4 and 4-II which are corridors between camps
With how many of these characters are in Nioh, I'd like to see a Samurai Warriors that includes William. Probably not gonna happen, but it'd be cool

Funny enough i'd probably agree with the ones you had in best bar koshosho. Personally i'd probably have kojiro as one of my favs as well cause i enjoy his moveset, personality and rivalry with musashi.

Fun watch, even though I disagree with most of the placements :P I guess I just don't care about the story as much as the gameplay/design overall.

i pretty like Yoshitsugu, Naotora and Yagyu. So many that i love and hate, but forgot their names. Did not play this game for a while tho. Gotta play this game when i got a enough time😄😄

So you don't like Mitsunari because he's a dick to people when he doesn't mean to be, a big part of his character arc that he unintenionally alienates people. Yet you like someone like Masamune whos even worse to people and does it on purpose?
Because Masamune is fun to play as... Mitsunari has one of the worst movesets in the series.
@@SexGravy I've been playing Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate recently I know it's not the most recent moveset but I find Masamune terrible to play as the only thing I find good is his musou. In my opinion Masamune is the Zhong Hui of Samurai Warriors utterly irredeemable.
Mitsunari does play pretty bad but I like him as a character so much im willing to deal with it, his relationships with Yukimura, Kanetsugu, Sakon and Yoshitsugu really make me root for him along with his more complicated relationship with Kiyomasa and Masanori.
Saika and Sakon are my favorite characters
Okuni is best girl, I want her to take me to Izumo with her.
the only samurai warriors game I've played is Pokémon conquest.
Make a Warriors Games tier list
Is this tier list based on how good the characters in the game or it based on the story ? , because i just bought this game and it my first SW and i want to know the best characters to start to level up

The tier list is based on how much I like the character.
Play as whoever you want. Just because a character is strong that doesn't mean you will automatically like them. or enjoy playing as them.

What about Takamaru from Samurai Warriors 3 as a guest character?
guess im just gonna post my top 5 so : fifth would be Kanetsugu pretty much only because of his amazing moveset. his designs after 2 were garbage unfortunately. next one would be motochika love all his designs and even though he doesnt really feel that great too play i enjoy his moveset a lot. third is nobunaga everything about him is awesome. musashi is my second spot but thats probably very nostalgia driven since he was crazy good in sw2 which i played the most when i was younger. overall his design is simple but i like it and i think the same sentence applys for his moveset. an awesome bonus he has is that hes responsible for the best cutscene in the warriors franchise (the musashi vs kojiro fight in sw2). my favorite is kojiro by far. love his moveset since day one and the black red aura they added to him in 4 is awesome. his design is right up my ally thanks to his creepy face and long red coat. even though he isnt a great representation of the psychopath charactertype he is one and that automaticly makes him the most interesting character in my eyes. he has so much potential but fucking koei doesnt give a shit about him unfortunately. while thinking about this list i realized how trash the females are in this series holy shit
