    I like that I was able to attach a magnet strip or single magnet without having to screw anything, makes it easier to make adjustments as you go.

    Good video. I'd use an angle grinder to open up holes for those outlets. Maybe cut the corners @ 45 degrees & fold the metal back to prevent sharp edges. Also, close the elevator doors in the background, the music was distracting😂😂

    I would like to try this with vertical panels mounted on frames to act as shallow cabinet door faces adjacent to my drill press. In the garage/workshop, I have horizontal braces between the exposed wall studs acting as narrow shelving. The frames would be attached to the garage studs with piano hinges and open up for access to the existing shelves.

    Very good informational video but found the background music to be both distracting and made it hard to clearly hear certain things that were being said. I usually skip videos that start out with all the background noise ( music). Wish people would leave the music videos to Beyoncé. But like I said I liked the info. Thx

    I see that you neatly placed the furring strips on the wall so that they are completely covered by the metal peg board panels. However when you marked the furring strips and pre-drilled your holes, they were all drilled very close to the edges of the strips. I'd be concerned about the strips splitting and giving way as you add more items to the board?!?

    Your metal pieces are hung horizontally and on them the long holes (not the circles) are vertical. The only ones I see on Amazon have the long holes facing the other direction. Where do you find the metal pieces like yours?

      +Jason Andrade I like the idea you did to hang your power tools. This would look sweet in your shop though! If anything the added shelves, shop towel dispenser, and bottle holder (for WD40, etc... ) would be a nice touch! It comes in 8 colors or galvanized finish!

    What was so horrible about the pegboard that was all "bowed n flexed" ? Now you have to hunch over and move stuff around under bench to find an outlet. Other than affiliate revenue, I would have left your excellent old setup alone ! Now you will have to contend with potential rust. If you got the stuff free, n/m ! Not giving you a hard time, just looking for a special type of pegboard hook, and came upon this. Your workshop is way prettier than mine, old or new!

    • @RockinBWoodworks
      @RockinBWoodworks  7 лет назад +1

      Totally not fake. I originally stumbled on WallControl through a Google Image search. I wanted to do something with my tools and hated the standard pegboard for reasons I stated in my video. I ended up ordering all the hardware and put together my video. I emailed the folks at WallControl the link to the video and they enjoyed it so much, they reimbursed my order and linked it to their site. It was an honor and privilege for me. I stand behind their products and hope to order more in the future! So yes, I may be linked on their site but NO, this video is not a fake.

    No offense, but what the hell is "wall control"? This looks like a pegboard installation, not way way to control a wall. If I wanted to control my wall, I would tell it what I want it to do or where I wanted it to be. Am really tired of all of these cute terms that are being used when all you have to do is explain the product and what it does!

    • @RockinBWoodworks
      @RockinBWoodworks  Год назад +1

      Wall Control is the name of the product. Yes, its pegboard; however, it's a whole system of shelves, hooks, etc that interlock with it. There are several other brands of similar products on the market such as "Omni-Wall" that has similar features. You can also use your standard pegboard hooks as well. I've been really impressed with it. Sorry for the "cute term" but thats the name of the product... not my creation... I'm just a guy that wanted something a little stronger than the 'ol masonite with holes in it!
