my bias is JIMIN and my bias wrecker is J-HOPE :)
i just want to say, BOTH j-hope and jimin are MAIN DANCERS. jimin comes from a more contemporary background (jimin took contemporary, ballet, and korean traditional dance in high school), whereas j-hope is literally a natural in street dance (i swear this man has no bones??) ever since he was a whole child.
In Asia people have worn masks for years -if they have a cold, a sore throat, or when the air pollution is high. Seoul has an issue with fine dust in the air at times.

Jimin used to be the most active member on twitter and Vlive but after all the hate, the death threats & the 2018 events, he completely disappeared for a while. Now, we barely see him tweet or does live streams :''') All because of those damn haters * sigh *

There is also a saying 'Once you Jimin you can't Jimout'.
The flips in the beginning and end of the video is Jimin, he is not only trained in multiple forms of dance but also multiple forms of martial arts for example blackbelt in Taekwondo, he trained in Kendo/Kumdo for 8 years also trained Hapkido. If you see flips and tricks in performances it's always Jimin doing it.

How JiMin can reach the heights is incredible Dance skills are incredible as well but because he does taekwondo he is a black belt he can reach heights and he’s extremely flexible. Jungkook is the same way he is also a black belt I believe in taekwondo as well. Oh and I would like to correct you on a couple of things not all of them were professional dancers for instance Jin,RM, Suga had no background and dancing when they became part of the BTS group they had to be trainees before they became globally known! this is a 4 your old video and it’s good to see some of their personalities individualities etc. but there are a lot other informational videos about BTS that I can recommend but I’m sure you have already seen many of them in the comment section but yeah you guys are coming along great it’s gonna take some time but believe me it’s rewarding to become an ARMY! Way BTS and ARMY have loyalty and respect for each other BTS countlessly thinks their fan base for everything because they know without them they would not be who they are today because they’re like a well oiled machine they work well together they respect each other and they appreciate ARMY ! In the western culture for instance United States artists do not have this close connection with their fans and it’s just refreshing to see how new ARMY react to the wonderful discography of BTS’s music and wait to you see them in concert I did in person when I went to the 2019 Chicago soldier Field Love yourself concert it was cold and raining but I didn’t care it was wonderful they are the best performers that I have ever seen and I’ve been around a lot longer than you guys have and believe me I hope one day you guys will get to see them in person because they are incredible performers incredible human beings we need people more like BTS in the world! Keep going on your journey believe me it gets better and better every time you learn something new or something more about BTS and they’re very inspirational😊💜🙏🏼

The song with Wale is Change. Wale is a big fan of RM and publicly claimed RM would be at the top in the US if he chose to be in America. RM is also in demand because of his lyricism. By the way, RM is not the leader because he can speak English. The CEO of the label heard him audition and afterwards, he wanted to showcase RM’s talents to the world. BTS was built with RM in mind, which is why BTS’ original genre was hip hop. While RM is the legit leader, the other members are not passive. They all contribute to the group (they’re like a family).
My bias has been Jimin since the beginning. Damn that boy is charming. But of course I love them all
In S.Korea ,Japan and China slot of people will wear mask because of the of the yellow dust (air pollution) can get really bad on some days(they also have air purifiers in there homes because of it) and since the SARS outbreak that started in the early 2000's (2002) people in Asia now wear mask when they are sick so they don't spread it even if it's just a cold. So its very common to see people wearing mask even in old videos its even part of there fashion.
I lived in Korea for two years. It’s not uncommon to wear masks because of the air pollution but it’s also if you are sick you wear it to not spread the illness to other people. Everyone in that country is fighting hard to make a living or do wel in school to survive in a tough economy with high unemployment. It’s consideration. It’s not like the states where you can find a job if you move somewhere else. Korea is small and competition for jobs is so high all the kids go to private academies until late at night after public school. I’m surprised the states hasn’t adapted that tradition all these years. Korea recovered from a war less than one hundred years aho and rebuilt that place with speed. That’s why Koreans are known for their work ethic or Bali Bali culture (it means rushed or fast)I don’t speak in behalf of all Koreans of course just shedding some light :)

Jin is the only member that had zero experience with singing or dance, but he worked very hard to improve and it shows what a great performer he is today.
Jungkook is my bias... this kid is so talented and such a hard worker... he does so much more than people understand and handles this all with Grace. Of course the fact that he has these incredible 6 hyungs behind him and supporting him had really helped shape the man he is today. I’m an athlete so the whole sports thing hits different. It’s crazy when you see all the stuff he can do... the drawing and painting is pretty nuts, rapping, dancing and how he’s gotten into filming and editing and producing these videos that are posted under GCF and it’s usually shots of different places they go but of course his hyungs are almost always front and center of the videos but they’re actually done really well. Even though jungkook is my number one... each and everyone of these guys are amazing with the most beautiful hearts and the bond they all share is so endearing... there’s so much love between them and they’ve been through a lot. I’m proud to be an army and support a group that is not only amazingly passionate and creative about their content... but they’re trying to make a difference and help to heal others through their music... they really are a special group of guys. Glad you got to see this! JK is my bias but any of the other ones can steal the show sometimes lol they’re all just that good that it’s impossible not to love them all
I'm an RM stan too so I'm subscribing to you guys because you chose him as your bias. All the members are great though and each have their own charm but RM has a special part in my heart. JK is adorable and super talented. Hope is sunshine. V is such a pure soul with a weird personality. Suga is a mood and Jin is super funny. Jimin is a hard worker.
Jimin & Jungkook both have black belts in Taekwondo & you can notice it with their flips & how flexible they are.
In Asia, specifically in Japan and S. Korea, people wear masks if they have a cold to prevent others from getting sick. It's a responsible thing to do there.
Jimin he's olso multitalented is black elt in taekwondo, 8 years in kuendo, fluent in Chinese martial art, good in basket, football, billard, contemporary dancer, popping, etc... He Wan the trophy of the best dancer in kpop for 3 years, wath do you think ?
They never correct Jimin’s bio. It’s always lacking unlike the other members segments. No one bothers to correct his information. This video even removes one thing constantly mentioned in the other videos. He entered Busan High School of the Arts as the top contemporary dance student. Ida listed him as having attended a dance academy. She just made a generic statement. He has many layers. I think I commented about him on their who is BTS reaction video made before this one. I made a comment on this one too. Me and you tryin to Make It Right. (See what did there lol)

yes, I agree.
You could say RM was the leader cause BTS was built around him, he was the first member. They had an idea of a hip hop group, but they signed RM on the spot when he auditioned and then went to look for people that would fit him. He was already known in the underground as a teen, was better at rapping than most adults and had depth to his lyrics. He was abt to quit music and focus on school so good timing XD
There were about 20 people who were trainees and could have become a part of bts. Somewhere along the line, the company decided and persuaded the group that stayed (I say this with a grain of salt cause they were very young) to debut as a kpop and not a purely rap group - this implies more singing and dancing, and a few members were added after this decision.
My bias is J-Hope, Army call him 'Sunshine' because he has such a bright personality, he has the most contagious smile in the world and he's a great dancer, he can be funny and goofy in one time but when he's on stage he become a different person, i love j-hope so much, he's my bias and the other six is my bias wreckers, they're all so talented

I'm what's called OT7 in the fandom, which means I support all seven but I lean heavily toward JIMIN. I think Daechwita by AgustD/Suga or Joke by RM are videos you would enjoy. If you watch the Cyphers, please watch the live performances.
Usually the oldest member is the leader in a group, but RM is not the oldest. Plus, he's not the leader because he's the only one fluent in English. RM was the first member of BTS. The group was formed around RM...because of RM. The youngest member Jungkook joined BigHit Entertainment because of RM. Out of all the other labels who wanted him, Jungkook picked BigHit because of RM. I guess you can say RM is the foundation for BTS. Plus, you can't spell ARMY without RM...figuratively and literally. 😁💜

Hello, this actually is what got me so much into BTS and I started in 2021. I COMPLETELY understand what you mean when you say it is outdated (and outdated is not fake), but I feel like it is a good start and THEN it will make people want to delve more into it you know (at least that's what I did)? Because the newer ones jump things from the past, like collabs etc (to be fair BTS has done so much that there isn't time to say everything 😂😂😂). I think they should be watched together, or as many as possible. Anyways only love 🙌🏾💜 (sorry for the long ass comment🙏🏾)

There are so many videos, but they regurgitate the same information. They say it’s more recent video, but the information is not.
So since they repeat it, they leave the same information out. You saw the video, talk about members talents, hobbies.
You did not see Park Jimin’s segment talk about anything but cake decorating and his kindness.
He excels in everything he does. Learned pop locking in middle school. He entered the Busan High School of the arts as the top contemporary dance student. When he might have to quit due to finances, his teachers paid his tuition. His teacher told him to audition for BigHit. He was the last member selected and he had the shortest amount of time to train before their debut.
The race you saw during JK segment. Jimin is the starter and JK the anchor. Two most important roles. They won three years in a row in those idol games. Jimin was also a high jumper. An athlete. He is an artist too. Level 10 in creativity. He writes and produces music. He plays the piano. He is also a great basketball player. Now, for the coolest thing.
He is a lethal weapon. A Ninja. He excelled in 5+ martial arts that is the reason his jumps and flips are so high. Black belt in Taekwondo (Korean)
he studied Japanese Kendo (swords) for 8 years, Hapkido (Korean: kicks, strikes, attacks, punches restraints, weapons),
Geomdo (swords) Korean martial art that derived from Kendo, haedonggeomdo (swords) and Chinese martial arts.

One thing to note, and I don't know if this was mentioned ( watching from RM part) but it's hard switching between languages -talking about English to Korean, vice versa- when speaking. Even artists like Jay Park and Eric Nam who where born and raised in the US find it hard to switch languages. I think RM does an amazing job when he does it. And the other members are constantly learning English. And fans are learning Korean.

Jhope was part of the underground dance team Neuron. He won various local prizes for dance, including placing first in a national dance competition in 2008

My favourite video about BTS and how they were formed is called A Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS. It has a narrator telling the story so you don’t need to read much and it gives a lot of info about Big Hit as well. There’s also a very good video out now about Jungkook called Jungkook The Main Vocalist of BTS. If you really want to know how good he really is watch this one. Enjoyed your reaction and how you took your time to really learn about each member. I love all seven of them because they are humble and talented human beings. I am drawn to V and RM. On another note, Christian, if you really like playing the guitar you should try to learn to play again. I believe that the saxophone is my instrument. I took lessons in high school once and on my own years later and put it down because life showed up but I am determined to learn how to play and I'm 53. If it's hard but worth it to you, then go for it and push through.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LIFE GOES ON by The Asian Theory (to know how they became together how and where everything started). HARDSHIPS 2013 - 2021 by XCeleste (to know all of their struggles, it's important) obviously take your time but believe me you'll love to do it. This video never mentions that two members have martial arts training.
Jung Kook, the youngest, has a red-black belt in Taekwondo (he may be black belt by now, but I haven't read anything that confirms that).
Jimin, the oldest of the youngest three, has a black belt in Taekwondo and eight years of Kendo training. He is the only one who had contemporary dance training before joining BTS.
J-hope, Jung Kook, and Jimin all had some street dance experience or training. J-hope particpated in dance battles.
Jhope brings that street dance fire, Jung Kook brings power, and Jimin brings focus. They all bring grace, and body control.
Of the two with martial arts experience, Jimin's movement style is the most directly-influenced by martial arts knowledge. He also has more than the usual fine muscle control, which is one reason he can sing the way he does.
I'm mentioning all this because it's this powerful focused martial arts quality that sets BTS's choreography apart from the rest of Korean entertainment industry dance styles.
Along with the genuineness of their rap skills, the depth of meaning in their lyrics, their hardworking ethic, and their kindness and sense of humor, this is what makes BTS BTS.
RM could not dance in the beginning, and resisted learning.
No matter their original movement skills, all are now considered to be professional-level dancers.
Jin also has Taekwondo experience. I forgot which belt level he has tho.
Jin revealed recently he has a black belt in Taekwondo. Suga has a red belt, and also some dance experience in b-boy before joining BigHit as a trainee. I have *never* heard that JK did any street dancing? I know as a trainee BigHit sent JK to the U.S. for a month to study hip-hop dance.

I totally agree , but people always steer new reactors to “the most” recently made videos. Asian theory’s is hands down the best video to lay the foundation of who is BTS. It’s like the before video plus it’s current enough to take you to the Dynamite release. It gives you insight into their journey, their hardships.
Xceleste video is good BTS after notice video, but still lacking some balance and again that’s because they pull most of their information and don’t notice problems that existed from the source or sources used. The don’t do their research to obtain the current information.

There is a channel "The Rise of Bangtan Official) that has started a series of videos about where the group started and how they got to where they are now. They have put out 13 chapters, so far. Even if you don't watch them for the purpose of reacting to them on your channel, there is a lot of great information in the videos if you want to know and understand BTS.

there is this crew of rappers (H1GHR MUSIC) and another group of artists (AOMG), these are two labels in South Korea that house some of the hottest artists in SK
both are ran by the man Jay Park (ex member of Kpop Group 2PM, also from Seattle... he is under ROC NATION) he is a SInger and Rapper
last year H1GHR released 2 albums together (red tape, harder rap; and blue tape which goes more for vibes and some r&b stuff too) where everyone under H1GHR music came together to make songs
off the RED TAPE i recommend THE PURGE, HOW WE ROCK, TELEFONO REMIX, THE ARRIVAL/CYPHER
off the BLUE TAPE i would say OSCAR, GOTTA GO, and AFTERNOON

as for AOMG
i highly recommend checking out SIMON DOMINIC, all of his songs are fire but i recommend the songs SIMON DOMINIC, DAx4, GOTT (you can always check out his Killing Verse)

When i first got into bts Suga was my bias but slowly V climbed his way up and now they’re both my favourite. I love all seven of them because they’re all so talented and genuine but I’m definitely daegu biased

I just wanted to drop into say that RM was not made leader bc of English - when they debuted in 2013, I do not believe they really planned to release English music, so choosing a leader for simply speaking English would not really make sense. Personally, I think RM is the leader bc he was the pillar for BTS (and the first member), everyone else was kind of centered around him when BTS was being created.

Hyung is an honorific, one of many used in Korean society. No matter if you're blood related or not, you use these honorifics with people older than you. Even couples use them with each other. They technically mean "older brother" or "older sister" (noona), but they are used with people you are close to regardless of blood relation.
I love them all but Taehyung (V) is my bias since day one :)
