As an M4 Band alumni, I will have to say Grambling won the 5th quarter and I'm not just saying it because my son plays in the band at Grambling. Imj🤷🏽♀️ I will say my former band has a GREAT sound!
This 5th depressing. I appreciate Gram for bringing new songs. You can tell they are still learning them and probably for the classic. But there is no winner here.
When you can't tell if it's the instrumentation, or arrangement... Its a PROBLEM!!! Both bands have sounded much better in the past!!!! I was NOT impressed by either band during this so called battle. I would have left after the 2nd round if I had gone to this game!

UAPB leaves all their best songs that are crowd favs and hyped in the band room to only play it during basketball season with a drum set 😂
The is beyond sad. UAPB need a new band director & some good arrangements. This was practice for Gram to get ready for the Bayou Classic.
Song selection was NOT hitting this 5th. M4 had better songs in their bag that would've made this a better overall 5th.
