I agree just saw the film last night. Stunning, creepy, powerful. I've seen all the film versions and plays of Nosferatu. Heck i even played count Orlok in my theater days. This is an incredible version of this story. Robert Eggers is brilliant.

I wonder if she was told or decided to make the conscious decision to never mention him in interviews to avoid the nepotism stereotype. I'd like to hear how his acting affected hers or if he's ever given advice or what's her favorite character of his. I guess the Amber Heard thing didn't make it any easier for her to want to share as I'm sure that was pretty exposing for them all.

It has to be because of the trials and his tarnished reputation. But it's probably likely she became estranged from him while he was still with Amber Heard. She refused to attend their wedding. When AH started with the allegations, Lily-Rose defended Johnny on IG and people bullied her. She deleted the posts and never talked about it or him again. She was still a child when this was happening so it makes sense she needed to be protected. I don’t know if interviewers don’t want to ask her directly or if she has said something about not asking about her dad, but I watched an interview a couple of years ago when both Lily and Johnny where at a film festival (can’t remember which, but was Europe) and the interviewer asked her about her dad and she said she was very proud of him and praised him. They are definitely not estranged, I think she makes a conscious efforts to not mention him.
It sucks because I too want to know how Johnny’s career affected her choices. Plus I’m sure she was in some of the Pirates movie sets and I would love to know more about that experience!

Francis Ford Coppola Dracula’ was two over stylized and feverish’, yes, the book was feverish. The audience needs to be able to see the events take place though.

Out of this world beautiful but why do interviewers like Josh have to go ask her about the worst backlash she had when she was in that Kevin Smith film, when he knows that she has been asked multiple times about it ? I would think he had more emotional intelligence than that!

Lily, you can't avoid talking about your dad forever. It might actually look better if you did show some love towards him for what he's given you in life, including a famous surname to use. Don't listen to stupid, risk-averse PR people, they are not the boss of you.

I don't like such daughters...who don't support their dads .. in public. ..nope, thks! She's in these roles coz of her Father ONLY! She hasn't much talent...but however... I wouldn't give money to such kids then...if I'd be rich ...

She seems quite engaging and funny. She is very articulate, but it is too bad she says “like” so often. I counted at least 20 likes during the interview. But this is so common and it is almost unavoidable in anyone 40 years old or younger I feel.

Sorry not sorry I wish it had Anya Taylor Joy she would have made Nosferatu perfect. I am not a fan of Lily as a actress even peo0le in the movie theater were laughing at certain scenes because her acting is cringy and you can tell she tries too hard that it seemed more Downtown Abbey than Nosferatu in a couple scenes. Also the fact that the movie starts with her moaning was also unnecessary. She gives me the ick.
