@@caiobouwens3015 no, mick is rhythm, Jim is lead. Watch Psycosocial live for an example, day of the gustano. Jim plays the intro, he plays a octave lead during the chorus he no longer plays the main chorus riff like mick, he also does all the stuff on the wah pedal. Mick usually does rythm and first part of solo. Jim then does the rest of the solo.

This is off a double concept album that has a graphic novel with it. I believe Corey was in Stone Sour before Slipknot and reformed it after they had some success.
And quite a few people have side projects with varying degrees of success. David Draiman has Device. Maynard James Keenan has Pucifier and A Perfect Circle, Dave Grohl played for Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures and Tenacious D and I think Ghost BC though I'm not sure if that's been confirmed.
I think Dave only drummed for them for one show, from what I've researched.

This man was one of the best. Not only his singing but how he performs on stage is absolutely insane.
I'm not a big fan of the albums Stone Sour did before and after, but the two House of Gold & Bone albums are some amazing hard rock with great hooks. They found the perfect balance, at least for a little while.
He was technically in stone sour first but they went unsigned until after Slipknot hit it big

Through Glass / Bother are like the songs everyone knows from Stone Sour and the funny thing they aren't a very good representation of what the band is. Both fantastic songs, but everything they've done after has been better and better and a lot of it much heavier.
