Great video MrSealyp.. Have you noticed when you get a power washer you can push it about the yard and put it anywhere you want after you've placed it. Great wee feature.
It's nice to see pigs getting a little more bang for their pork! Though it's a shame to see horses aren't worth much any more though, I could understand if Giants thought 50k was too much but dropping it to 5k I think is a bit much, won't stop me doing them at some point though. Thanks for taking the time to do all this, MrSealyP!
I will try out pigs now. I have never played FS with pigs because I think it was to much work involved with their food. But after this video, I will try pigs. Thanks for showing this, Mr SealyP.
Hello MrSealyP loving the test vids. I wanted to thank you for taking the time, putting in the time for making all the vids so far. Very thorough and informative, please keep up the excellent work and I can't wait to see the first parts play although I know there are still more testing to do so I look forward to seeing those as well. Thank you so much .
Dam you mrsealyp I've gone and brought it and the thing I hate the most about 25 is I love it, it's a major improvement over 22... I also hope some one mods that boat in the shed to use😂 .
The horses sound better but the look of them hasn't been improved imo. We had a mod in FS22 that trained the horses when you didn't do it yourself. added a lot of flexibility, I hope it comes back. A bit disappointed so little has improved with horses.
Seems like the route to go for pigs is divide the maximum # of pigs in the sty by 8. Then when the sty fills sell the oldest pigs to make room for the next births. Wish you would have tested whether horses need fitness for reproduction. Also if you could ignore fitness and just exercise them for four days in a row and receive full price before selling them.
Hi Paul thanks for this video, with the pigs you failed to notice the full grown pigs worth 2500, each month there reproduction is dropping, so you need to sell off the max growth pigs with falling reproduction as they are eating food and no longer giving you the piglets. Great vids as normal mate. 👍🏻
I thought the animals prioritized the highest quality food? Like if I fill my cow pen with tmr and then hay, they just eat tmr, yeah? So don't horses just eat Oats, and the pigs just feed if it's in there?
Hey 👋 Mr. SealyP, I saw a Video on RUclips you may like about Farming by Paul Harvey… “So, God made a Farmer” quick 2 min video fits in really well with what’s happening in England 🏴 right now with Farmers and Agriculture! ✌️🚜
@@chrisasst The game has millions of users. Why does the game need to be adjusted to fit YOU perfectly ? Other people would want it in a different way.
@@SpacemanSpliff101 Right, because i am the ONLY one that has complained about this since day one of fs22. So in real life, if you project your here to eat one bale a day, you fill their trough up, I guess you can't put anything else in there right. Smh.
the pigs also give you fertilizer you don't have to buy. Horses are a complete waste of time. Even if you make $ off them there's tons of other ways to make $ without dealing with them. The only reason to get horses in my opinion is if you actually like them in real life. If not, why bother.
You can actually remove the fences after you put down pastures to make it seem like the animals are in open pastures but they’ll still be within the fence range you put down.
loving the videos , but can you maybe do a video on a better way for gathering stones for cement production? i know the collecting field stones, but is there another way?
@@MrSealyp Shouldn't be a big deal, as long as they still reach 100% health by the time they're old enough to reproduce. It worked great on FS22, I would imagine it still does. It's not like pigs give you milk or wool, so it's a similar thing to feeding beef cattle hay instead of TMR.
@@MrSealypproductivity shouldn't really matter for pigs, since they're for selling and obviously won't give wool or milk. Consider it similar to feeding beef cattle hay. It's the same concept really, but for pigs. They should still reach 100% health (and thus ideal sale price) it'll just take a few more months. Worked perfectly on FS22, so I'm just curious to see if it still does.
Unfortunately, it seems like horses are completely pointless yet again in this iteration of FS. Way too much work for absolutely nothing in return. Guess they’ll just continue to be put on my farms for aesthetic purposes.
The cheapest way to feed them 100% is buying pigfood now. You can't grow your own food for them and make a better profit compared to selling your grains at in the best period and buy readymade food. Tjats a bit of a bummer..
Thanks for the vid mr.p i must admit im not impressed with 25. Too msny things changed i dont like and too many things i wanted changed that didnt. Plagued with frame rate problems and game crashes. Hate the contracts, hate the buildings, animals dont look much better. More like a dlc for 22 than a stand alone game. I enjoy the franchise but this is 2nd time i feel like i got screwd. The gaming industry in turmoil all over the place. Ubisoft, blizzard, activision, and so on, are on the verge of bankruptcy for crappy ideas and even worse games. Would be a shame to see giants head down that rabbit hole but if this kind of product continues i guess time and the gaming community will see. Lov ur channel, lov the content. I will support u even if i skip fs25 and go back to 22. Keep it up my friend
don't ride the horses until they are older, I think in FS22 they maxed in price at month 24 or 36 but it only took 10 months of riding to raise fitness up to 100% so no reason to ride them until they are 10 months out or whatever from their max price for age
Great video MrSealyp..

Horses look a bit better but it’s a bit disappointing that we don’t have foals
Yes, why is that? Wtf Giants?

It would be cool to have livestock delivery missions

Thanks! You should do one with meat cows - they are the product too! It was FS19 that horses max value was 50k.
Animals are more worth doing in hard economy, because the sell price is the same as in easy. Crops however is worth less in hard.
It is ludicrous that the game still only allows one piglet per sow.
In real life they have 8-13. In FS19 with seasons you could get a ton of piglets because they actually worked like real pigs
Dam you mrsealyp I've gone and brought it and the thing I hate the most about 25 is I love it, it's a major improvement over 22... I also hope some one mods that boat in the shed to use😂 .

A bit disappointed so little has improved with horses.
Agreed. I was really hoping FS25 would include an update to the horses - better models and animations, foals, etc.
Id still like to pay a helper $50 a horse to take them for a ride

The horses take 36 months to reach their maximum value, regardless of whether they reproduce.

36 Months for 5k, for sure they forgot another zero on the end, gotta be joking.

Cows eat highest quality, horses and pigs eat combined value.

They need to o back to fs19 food feeding. You can put 2 inputs in completely full, and have the total not maxed out.
Well, play FS19 then....
@SpacemanSpliff101 or they can make one little change on their current game that makes sense

Horses didn’t got bk in the pens on 22 either when u got off them out side of the pen think they only went bk in when you got off them in 19

I thought I showed that on the video.
Someone needs to create a crop insurance mod. Pay monthly premiums and then any damage you get payout.
Thank you Paul going to start a bacon and sausage farm 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I find the best bells to use on a small bells for horses and pigs

Buy debris crusher, it gives instead of takes. Load it up in build mode and see stones falling in to silo on side of factory.
There is a dredger boat that gives stones (Riverbend Springs) like the iron ore on Platinum, but it appears to be broken at the moment.
@@MrSealyp Thank you 🥹
Thanks for the information
You had over 100 pigs in the pen, but I could only count 14 visible?? In FS22 the limit was 25, does this mean it's dropped instead of increase?
It's based off the size of the pen. Smaller pens will show less and larger pen will show more
You can change that in the xml if you’re on pc. It depends on the pen.
That hailstone made my game crash about 4 times, I had to sleep through it to keep playing.
Try giving the pigs just base+grain (e.g Corn and Barley and nothing else).
They won't reach 100% productivity.

Bro... what are you talking about? You can take a lot of money on horses by only taking good care for them. I gain about $45.000 on one horse!
Can you just not ride the horses until they hit breeding age and then start riding them?
The cheapest way to feed them 100% is buying pigfood now. You can't grow your own food for them and make a better profit compared to selling your grains at in the best period and buy readymade food. Tjats a bit of a bummer..
Pigs would be more lucrative if there were other ways to make money with them like some productions.
Seasons 19 horses were the best
Pigs are only worth it in my opinion if you supply the grains required if your not your basically just spending all the profit on feed
9:47 hmmmm. Yer, i thought 18 for 12 was good and green beans ftfet
Again no manure from horses 🤦♂️
