I was sleeping late one night left the TV on.. PBS of all stations. 1 o'clock in the morning I heard this voice I had to get up and see you who it was. then the song came on to close the show, had to get out of bed , Google and do the research. oh my god I love it.. by the way I'm 55 year old black male. my musical taste is very diverse. I wish more people would explore country music.

Most of today's country singers(?) are being drowned out by the instruments.... BUT, Brandy and this song are both in the "WOW" category. I hope that we get to hear more of this gal and her music. I love Country Music, but there ain't much on the radio nowadays..... most of the females sound alike.

Her voice is pure. She is a true talent. Discovered her on the Grammys and instantly knew this young woman is very talented. I would listen to more of country music if they'd keep talent like her on the radio.
Heard this song for the first time on the Grammys. As I was listening I'm thinking, "This reminds me of a Dwight Yoakam song." Then I nearly fell of my chair when I realized who her singing partner was! To me, this is real country. Immediately went on Amazon and ordered the CD. Will be getting it today and really hope the rest of the songs measure up to this one.

Really looking forward to seeing Brandy in Birmingham England on 20th September 2016. Brandy and her contempories Kacey, Ashley and others are the real heart of modern country music. Just a shame that commercial Nashville and the radio stations don't recognise the fact.

I got to meet Brandy in person when she was on Tour with Jennifer Nettles. Super nice, and Holy crap, soooooo talented! Every Country fan should own her CD, 12 Stories. You already know some of her songs, Mama's Broken Heart sung by the beautiful Miranda Lambert and Better Dig Two sung by my daughter's favorite band, The Band Perry. I'm so glad Brandy is now coming out into the spotlight, where she deserves to be :)

I saw Brandy Clark for the first time last night when we were at a Jennifer Nettles concert. She (Brandy) was amazing!!!! I look forward to seeing her perform again in the future. She has a good future in country music. I'm a fan.

I quit listening to pop/rock/country in the late eighties when talent quit mattering, and most "music" became just computer generated garbage. Since then, I've listened mostly to classical, and classic rock/pop. Favorites include England Dan and John Ford Coley, the Moody Blues, Alan Parsons, etc. Rarely does a talent come along that moves me, but after watching Brandy on Austin City Limits, I've added her to my list of favorite artists of all time. '12 Stories' is a masterpiece, and her other two albums are phenomenal, loaded with relatable, clever lyrics. Keep up the good work, Brandy, and I hope to see you live someday...

I've been a fan of Brandy for nearly two years now, and while I've heard this song a few hundred times while playing "12 Stories", it really brought tears to my eyes to see this video. It's no wonder to me that this song was nominated, she is going places, you ain't heard nothing yet, her album coming out in April will knock your socks off.
