Damn! An I have 4inch to a five inch tip mbrp with then 3 inch down pipe and I could hear the difference!!! Holy crap! Might be upgrading from the 4inch to a 5 now... wow!

I have the same truck, 2006 Chevy CC 6.6l LBZ 4x4. Right now it's pretty much stock. I have a 3" lift, upper control arms, blocks in the back and 4 Rough Country N20 Shocks. I have a couple questions for you, I have a MBRP 4" exhaust I already bought or I would have bought a 5", my question is I don't have the down pipe yet, I'm going to get the 3"-4" MBRP down pipe a little later, can I go ahead and install the 4" MBRP exhaust from the stock downpipe back or do I have to have the MBRP downpipe first? The other thing I wanted to ask you is what Edge turner is that? What turner would you recommend? I want an Edge turner but I want the DPS5 control also. When you buy the turner does it already come programed with the tunes and you just have to install the DPS5 knob? Or the Edge isn't the turner, you have to get EFI Live and the Edge? As you can tell I'm kind of new to the Diesel World.Thanks

Ok so I know the video is about his exhaust upgrade. Kudos for that. Does sound better than the split pipe. However, I did notice the mirrors on his truck. Are they gm ones or aftermarket? They sit level so I am assuming factory. If not I am curious as to where he got them. Trying to find level mirrors aftermarket is a nightmare!
Chris Young there is a guy on here that has a video on how to level aftermarket mirrors by taking out some metal washers
In between the two posts going to the mirror itself, their is a small cover, take it off slowly! There will be 4 bolts, take the two top bolts off and apply two washers to the top bolts, put back together and it should be level
Does your buddy have an aftermarket turbo? I have the same strait pipe, but haven't done the downpipe yet. The whistle on his sounds amazing!
Ben Miele Nope he has the factory turbo still. The down pipe does make a decent difference.

Just put a 5" flopro on my lbz, MBRP is great, but im not a fan of those clamps mbrp comes with. Just my .2 cents

Nice job. FYI MBRP full exhaust 4", hangers do not match up worth a damn on an 08 lmm crew cab long box dually.
They take a lot of finessing around and adjusting thats for sure.
Mark DeCola my kit is clearly screwed from factory or something. The extra straight pipe for the long box crew cab does not run parallel with the frame. it clearly is below frame then binds up over trans cross member then from there on all good. Think I'll just scrap the mbrp and do custom 4" the clears.

I am mbrp 3" down pipe to 5" flowmaster, I don't think you need that piece of 4"?
the front of your kit should be a 4" that expands to a 5". It is just so you can clear the cross members.

The shifter starter in 06 and this is an 06. But if you have an older truck, Fleece Performance makes a Plug and Play Tap shifter upgrade for those trucks.
