I love Outer Banks so much! The ending of this episode was so intense, like wow! Your reaction to Sheriff Peterkin getting shot by Rafe is literally my reaction every time I watch this episode. I stay in disbelief. Rafe seriously needs help!
One thing I hate about the opening fight is that Harpoon guns don't work like that outside of the water. It would drop to the ground almost immediately.
There were a few things that didn't add up in this episode. 1. How did John B get in the well? 2. how did Pope know the gold was gone. He had left his friends the night before and hadn't seen John B. And power is still out so no cellphoneservice... 3. And indeed how did Rafe have a gun... I guess the first one and the third one can be explained away easily... but not the pope one... anyways still enjoying your reactions to outerbanks!! Love this show
Pope could have been let in the same day before the interview. They probably would have wished him good luck at some point. Also, I am guessing Ward had a gun at the plane Rafe could have taken.
When John B came to get the gun, he told them "Ward knows about the gold, he killed my dad". It wouldn't have been hard for Pope to assume that since he knew about it, and the fact that he's trying to the leave the country quickly and his plane is super heavy for no good reason, that Ward stole the gold and that's what was on the plane to weigh it down. As for how John B got in the well, maybe the people who got the gold, left all the equipment and stuff they used to get it. Rafe walking around with a gun is the least surprising thing I think.
@@chellymac16 yes, he told them that Ward knew about the gold... but Ward didn't say he knew were it was and at that point Ward didn't know where the gold was only that Jb knew where it was...
@@jan10e5ward figured it out because of the newspaper talking about 4 teens breaking into that old ladies house. pope probably figured that if ward knew about the gold he was following their trail enough to put together where it was and it was confirmed when he found out his plane was carrying a heavy load

Still need to see JJ poppin Rafe in the face. Rafe is literally crazy. But wait for season 2 and 3 😅 tbh he becomes one of my favorite characters on the show just by how intense and scary he is. He gets some more development and you sort of understand why he is the way his more. I really like how they round out his character a bit more as the show progresses. Drew Starkey plays an incredible tortured villain.

peterkin was the only cop who would’ve put ward in jail were he belongs and none of what happened w the gold cross and everything he put the pogues especially john b wouldnt of happened. shoupe and the rest of the police/sheriffs were on wards side bc either he was paying them or bc he’s a kook peterkin was the only one on john bs side SHE DESERVED BETTER SHES THE ONLY & BEST SHERIFF IN THE SHOW 😢
