I remember first watching your videos just before travelling to Africa in 2013 as I wanted to know what Dubai airport was like since we were travelling via DBX. I was 17 when I first watched your videos and I enjoy them just as much now that I’m 24! Glad to see your back, thank you for sharing this experience despite the sad events that let to it.

I used to have my cupboard all decorated with news articles of aviation news and I remember that air India had started operating on 787s back then with flights to Birmingham and Kolkata. I didn't search for your channel for 3 months and today compensated for it. Now I'm happy you're back and I'm 16 as of now. I've taken several flights but excitement of seeing them from your perspective still lures me. Thank you!
I couldn't help but feel that this video would never come, but I'm glad to have stayed subscribed so I didn't miss it. I love the way you produce your films, sharing your love of flying in such an honest, informative and humble way. After watching this (holding back tears by the end) it made the emotional challenge it must have been to produce this fim so much clearer, and the delay is completely understandable. I really love your videos of flying to Kolkata & Back 1. As I am a Aviation Enthusiast and 2. It is really close to my heart with me being an NRI Bengali born & Bought up in Birmingham UK 🇮🇳❤️. I still remember having a similar experience back in 2015 in July my Dadu (Grandfather/ my Mum’s Dad) was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer I remember I had just finished secondary school (Highschool/10th-11th standard) and my Mum being singed off from work to and quickly booking our tickets to Kolkata on Emirates for a month. The Day I was flying I just wanted the flight to go fast as I just wanted to see him and Emirates Birmingham to Kolkata isn’t the best as the connection times is 1.5hrs-2hrs so you have to rush luckily that July and Augusts we got to spend time with him and I never wanted it to end and loved every minute of it. Sadly in January 2016 5 days after my 17th Birthday he passed away my Mum sadly couldn’t go to Kolkata and see his cremation nor could I and I was heartbroken. I totally understand your loss and your pain my heart is with you ❤️.

I was very sad to hear that your dear father passed away. It must have been very difficult and I don't know what I would have done in your situation. I have immense respect that you were able to continue in such difficult circumstances and I can only hope that reaching him in time gave you closure and the ability to say a last goodbye.
