@@soyjakpartyvideoarchive oh I see. yeah I mean I've been to /qa/ back when it was "questions and answers" but for the most part this was a zellig parody mod. It's just that /qa/ heavily influenced zellig's small English fanbase. Just by virtue of being an early adopter.
I remember /qa/ being more of a fusion of /jp/ and /s4s/ than jakspam back then though.

outside of that, I discovered Ongezellig thanks to that guy who made the Soyjak lore vid, and it was unironically one of the best bits of online animation I've seen in ages... Loved it alot.
and for the Mod itself... I like it. Loved some of the references as a History enjoyer (Mymy Mussolini for example).
I'm proud of the stroop-wafel fountain and the Mymy Mussolini statue. I wasn't even sure I would be able to pull off making a head with the brush editor. I had to consult a Hammer editor shaman in order to fix an error with my brushes on the head, but eventually it was salvaged.

I remember watching this before I knew what Ongezellig or the ‘sharty was… needless to say, I was so confused. I thought it was just some mod made by like a schizo or something completely randomly. My and my friend spend ages laughing at every detail.

Download trenchbroom or jackhammer editor, go to TWHL for advice with learning hammer editor or for any problems you encounter while making the mod.
Some basic advice: Keep every thing on grid and avoid going below 4 hammer units unless you are working on very small details. Usually you should stick with 32-64 hammer units when brushing things out. Doors should be 64 wide and 96 tall at the bare minimum in order for gordon to go through them. Making mods with goldsrc is not hard but it is time consuming.
@@Gofishefurwitz I was hoping that we could cooporate, since I am already busy with drawing and animation and I have very little time to learn goldsource/source right now.
My Idea was for you to make a sequel, while me and other skilled members of our community on the sharty and zarty help you out with whatever we can. The end goal would have been to make a gemmy mod and to eventually send it to Vinesauce to stream it. It's a silly idea, but has the potential to be fun.
Judging by your answer, you too are busy with other endeavours in your life. Thank you for answering back and providing me with useful information. I shall put it in good use, if and when I can.
