My only issue with gmod realism ingame is you shoot one combine soldier and the whole group you set up 400 miles away comes flocking too you.
That's why it's always recommendeded to bind ai_disable and ai_ignoreplayers.
And this is on an almost 20 year old game engine. Truly astounding

@@skipfighter if only we werent stuck with the same HL2 textures on every map, and people started using custom textures more it would be so much better
this is really good, the multiple perspectives makes it look like these characters are all a part of an incredibly large world and that their stories are related in some way, really neat
What i love about your GMod realism videos, are that they arent this sort of « over exagerrated bodycam style ».
Instead you take a light approach to it and you can actually tell it’s GMod!
The remake of gm_contruct was so beautiful, I really liked the idea of how you made it a train station.
I just placed the props and npc’s and built the atmosphere. Most of the credit goes to the actual map maker for creating such a good looking map

The scene at 3:16 could literally be taken from a Half-Life 2 mod where your squad stumble upon the remnants of a hidden militia group underground while running away from the Combine. You walk through the camp with your squad and they set up at the door, waiting for you to breach. Then you encounter opposition on the other side, noticing the combine have already tracked you down to this underground bunker.

mark my words - someday, somebody will make an entire action movie with a plot and everything all in gmod
I have that very thing planned actually. But im several years away from getting started due to technical limitations. Though it's not gonna be hyper realisim or anything. There will be some stuff out of place. Most notably my character model will stand out among everything else. Unless I can find something better between now and then.
The general plot takes place in an alternate universe version of half life. Everything with the resonance cascade does still happen. But this time. A lot more than Xen and combine comes through. The plot will follow a mysterious organization that issues orders to my character. Her ultinate goal. Wipe out whatever nightmare fuel has appeared in the location.
They will arriveive by various means. Depending on the map and mission. Do whatever objective she has, and then extract. All while things go increasingly wrong in a lot of cases, and reality struggles to hold itself together. At one point even entering some strange places and having difficulty escaping.

@@what_is_oatmea1 I have absolutely no idea when I'll be able to do it. I need my own place, recording software, a better computer, potentially need good internet if I require other players, plus actuL experience with the whole. Making youtube videos thing. I always wanted to do it in general just for fun the pay is honestly a bonus in my eyes. Among other things.

ive got no better words than amazing to describe this video. i do particularly like the contrast that the 4:28 to 4:51 segment makes compared to the rest of the video though, its nice.
I'm curious, how did you make the russian mobsters stop before attacking you like that? Normally when AI is enabled, a message shows in the chat.
I used a keybind. When i press a certain key the AI activates and starts attacking

The reflection is part of the map, he uses NVIDIA in-game filter

Нет, чтобы делать ролики как у него не нужен мощный компьютер, той же 1650 хватает для этого, учитывая что у него половину роликов действия происходят в закрытом помещении, а что касаемо роликов где жесткие перестрелки это уже по прожорливей будет но опять же, той же 1650 хватит

I was surprised, because usually when someone using russian npcs voicelines it's just random words without any connection to the situation
Can you translate it to me?
@@chicken8953 in the begging they just saying some jokes from "Stalker", when guys started to attack they just insult the character. Its hard to translate words literally, but they are saying something like: "moron, u trying to deal with me? Asshole. Catch him!"

Let's say you have mods that are creating "errors" even though they don't affect the gameplay very much. Is there a way to turn off the error notification at the top left of the screen?
