    I've always wondered how they do it and who does it. These things seem like they just spawn LOL

    All that work, and the job hasn't even started yet.

      this, we had a road shut for "crane works" locally... when the little 5axle showed up i was like... oh is that it???... then i saw the LTM11200 parked up a few streets away with some of the convoy of lattice boom parts and was like oh... this gonna be gooooood

    Great video, a lot of work. Perhaps you use a typical sound of the day in normal speed as background sound, I do so in my time lapse videos.

      This was recorded in time lapse with no sound, I recorded ordinary 4K with a separate camera.

    WARNING: At 7:32 the video starts blasting loud music! Well, loud compared to the total silence of the first 7.5 minutes at least...

    Is the crane being used to assemble itself? It's like MC Escher's hands drawing themselves.

    • @veryhighguy
      @veryhighguy  5 лет назад

      No there is another one giving a helping hand. There is another video from the same site what does assemble itself

      @@veryhighguy 2:34 The large crane is lifting the caterpillar tracks (tank treads) and placing them in position to be attached to itself, that's what I was referring to.

    • @veryhighguy
      @veryhighguy  5 лет назад +1

      Oh yeah it does do a lot for itself but there was another there to assist occasionally.

      @@veryhighguy Yeah, my bad for not initially specifying what I meant. Thanks for the upload, it's fascinating to see how much engineering goes into the equipment that goes on to work on other larger engineering projects. Human ingenuity amazes me!

    Looks like they had a mistake at first in the series of which part of which crane had to be moved in first. Then they lifted the first track over the cab of the truck with the driver inside the truck. Big NoNo.
