REV Ocean is indeed a very impressive superyacht, known for its size, features, and environmental mission. With a length of almost 200 meters, REV Ocean is the world's upcoming largest superyacht, designed by Espen Oeino and built by the Norwegian shipbuilder Vard, the Norwegian shipbuilder Brattvaag and the German shipbuilder Lloyd Werft.
Not only does REV Ocean offer luxurious amenities for its guests, but it also has a dedicated research and exploration center that is equipped with the latest technology for studying marine life and the ocean environment.
The yacht's mission is to increase our understanding of the ocean and to promote ocean conservation. The yacht has a team of scientists, researchers, and technicians on board who use the latest equipment, such as underwater drones, to study and collect data about the ocean. This data is then used to create a more comprehensive understanding of the ocean and its role in the planet's ecosystem. Hmmmm....I'm not getting the buy in on the narrative that this vessel is good for the environment. We are talking about burning millions of liters of fuel over the years.
@Chas aka Bigcheezmoe totally understand you! REV Ocean has a great mission, but her next step is to cruise in a way where she doesn't have to burn fuel. For example electrical energy
All the military ships just waisting tons and tons of money crusing all over the world should drag nets just to clean up the oceans!!!
