I need to study up on why some would teach or believe that Antiochus lV Epiphanes fulfilled a prophecy that satan thro' the beast power actually fulfills. Forgive me if i stated that erroneously. I do need to read more on this. We need to be informed of others' errors so we can help them see Truth. (But not spend all our study time dwelling on errors, ha!) We Love y'all ❤️ PS addendum I reckon I am not intelligent or capable enough to understand this info about Daniel's vision in 8:14, after reading awhile how "scholars" dissect it. I've always just accepted what was given us in our commentaries. However, I am certainly not a great student and trying to understand the variables presented has boggled this old lady's mind (my eyes are also struggling). So I will continue to pray & seek Holy Spirit Guidance, and trust in the Spirit of Prophecy given to those who will have ears to hear. Thank You, LORD. Amen
Since the sacrifices could not cleansed from sin, then it was a system to reinforce in the mind of the people that it was only a shadow of the real sacrifice.
We have an Advocate Jesus Christ who cleanses us from all unrighteousness and forgives our sins from our prayers of confession and repentance. From our commitment to daily surrender and obedience, we are clothed in Christ's Righteousness and receive His Divine Guidance and Strength through the Holy Spirit. We have the Bible and the Holy Spirit to guide us in our earthly journey with Christ. A spirit of fear is not of God even when speaking of the Judgment. Philippians 1:6 is Christ's promise to complete the work [Sancitification] in us when we strive to live holy and acceptable sacrificial lives. My daily prayer, Lord, I need Your help. Please reveal Your will to me for the given day. In Jesus' Holy Name, Amen. Tell yourself, I am going to Heaven! and live accordingly.
