It's so awesome to watch you go through these once in a lifetime models. You're a heck of a builder bud! It's a joy to be a fly on the wall in your shop!
Gorgeous build as usual! I was thinking it would be nice if the join in the fuselage was an inch or 2 farther forward, so all of the actual fuel tanks (including the UAT's) could be in the back half of the plane. That seems like it would make it a lot easier to split the plane if needed for maintenance/repair/transport. I'll admit I can't quite picture how the fuel pumps could be squeezed into that area LOL
TOTALLY! The worst part of the fuse split is the diverters that get screwed in from inside the fuse. Pain in the butt even without any equipment. If the split was forward or behind these features it would be much easier.
@@thelightersideofrc Another cool trick, cut some O-rings out of same type fuel line expand them over the fittings with needle nose pliers and slip it over. It won't cut or rub the line.
You are a wizard on remote control tech what can i say ...complete wizard!!!...theres probably another word Godly but your the only one i watch on build tech!!!..certainly a master..all i can say im not worthy!!!...you understand the physics involved...best build was about to say ever but all your builds are next level!!!
Wow always awesome to see your built videos. Amazing hints, suggestions to issues. I am not a jet pilot as not many places we can fly jets, love gliders and Acro flying and towing machines. Still it is interesting to watch. Compliments from Switzerland
At around 33:40 you talk about a faux carbon material you laminate onto the wood...can you please provide a link to where you can purchase that or what the product is. Thank you and love the channel.
My fiancee wants to know how much groceries this puppy can carry lol. Like the F-14 this Hog is almost bigger than her Hyundai Tucson lol, I told her we could save on gas and strap one of these bad boys on the roof racks
I wonder why no one makes internal or hidden linkages for flight surfaces. Would look better bit i guess in a kit form hard to do unless its prebuild that way maybe
Because in some cases there is not enough room to make them operate properly. You could make all the internal linkages but the problem is you loose some mechanical advantage.
With regards to the vspeak module, i have one in my rebel hot with a swiwin 80 and im running core radio. I cant get fuel information. It asks for 2 fuel flow per minute values at specific fuel pump voltages do you know what these are for the swiwin 80 and swiwin 240 that i will be putting in the rebel max
Hey Neil. I haven't had to mess with the figures for pump yet. Basically setup the vspeak tank volume, alarm volume, radio signal type and in this case one module Left turbine and one module Right turbine.
I love remote confrol planes but the smsrtness thst goes into every build he does is next level dude wwhy arent you on Elon Musks team for planetsry exhibitions??????...so fucking smart!!!..wasted on remotes???..guessing UFOS is next level for you sir????...such an amazing build but then to undedsfanc what you do is next level smartness!!...amazing absolutely amazing!!!!

A poker... do you mean an awl?
Excellent work sir! I believe you are a Master Builder of RC aircraft. Thanks for sharing your awesome techniques.
Wow, 😊 thank you for watching!

Thanks 👍
Great organizing the mess of wires , now certified as master RC electrician . Great job
HAHA. Thanks Russell
My favorite plane!!! You are remarkably thorough!! Great work!!
Thank you very much! I appreciate it!
Great videos, planes and waiting for the maiden flights
Thanks!
You have one of the coolest jobs in the world brother
Great work…. Fly With Frank has mastered the slime lights. Your Black Snake Hawg could definitely use this scale detail!
Thank you very much!
Man those wings are complex! Wow!! Every new scene seemed to have bundles of wires and tricky servo/servo horn set ups, and pylons and…………….🤯!!
🙈🙉🙊😱
HAHA. Yea there is alot going on in there!
I love A-10 Warthog
Classic Favourite!

Jonathan,
Can you do a quick video or segment on the tools and stuff you use to make all your servo wires/connectors on all these builds?
I did a how to on wire connectors a couple years back. I will add it to the questions for the next live at @thelightersideofrcafterdark
I love that plane it saved my ass more than once and I think it's a pretty cool looking plane
😎🙌
Excellent idea! I've always wondered why no one uses lock wire on the fuel lines. Seems like that would be standard practice.
On a good fitting system with barbs and proper line it's probably not needed but it's simple cheep insurance.

I can't wait to see this spool up for an engine test!
Saturday's video!
I kept getting distracted by that massive F14 XL😳😳
HAHA. I totally understand! I get distracted by it everytime I walk into the shop!
Man bit of work there. 😮 Bit of a bugger re fuse pylons but happens to the best of us 😅. Keep at coming along nicely. 😊
Oh Yea! The wings on the SM A10's are the most work on the entire aircraft. 3rd video wraps up the series perfectly!
That's a pretty huge wing on the table!
HAHA. No kidding! This thing is all wings, gun and engines!

I'm surprised Boeing hasn't been on the phone, I'll bet your doors don't fall off!😮😊
Haha😂😂😂 thanks!

Thank you very much. I get it from DreamworksRC in Florida. Its listed as ABS Carbon I belive.
Still hope to see this bird next to the F14 soon but dam it is a good looking plane hope we get to see the maiden flight of the A10
Patience! Thanks for watching 😉😊

How many hours will you have in this?
Its complete already but it took 87 hours including building cradle for transport
Sir hi, I am from New Jersey (U.S.A), if I want a model made by you, what will be your charges ?
Hello. Please email me to discuss. Email is thelightersideofrc@gmail.com
More money than sense
Sure! Thanks for watching 😊
i put a thumbs down fly it already
