It’s literally not. Sick of seeing these videos cause if you’re tryna macro to get a ton of shards you’re gonna lose them. It takes 200 shards for 200k glimmer LOL
@@diseasedtesticIe It's a hundred percent worth it for new players because getting legendary shards from drops is so slow, especially when you're buying weapons or armor from xur or banshee.
@@carryofallcarrieslol5338 bruh, if it's not worth it for players WITH resources, how in the hell is it worth it for new players? You know, new players that DON'T have resources?
Yea, I had 2500 plus legendary shards at all times, 2k enhancement cores at all times, 250k constant glimmer, was not an issue, now I'm sitting at 250 legendary shards scared to spend, 15k glimmer thinking..."well damn I can barely buy bounties now wtf? ". I'm an adult working full time but that never was an issue last past seasons...
Just run terminal overload public events and refresh the final loot chest; can get 3-4 chests if your fast enough; and not to mention the loot while taking part in the events.
@@m4t7ox34 simply summon your sparrow and hover to the next loading screen area; then return back to the one chest. Can usually get it 2-4 times if your fast enough. Also helps burn terminal overload keys.
It is very much worth mentioning Rahool will give you transmats you might not have, it is not solely the loot pool you have already collected, about the only reason this would be worthwhile
I see quite a few comments saying this method is pointless. This is perfect for new players as it is really hard to build a sufficient amount of legendary shards to be able to buy stuff from vendors, especially if you havent been playing for months. Even though the method isn't new, I think it's still important that as many new players as possible find out about this, just to make their experience better.
I m pretty sure a new player won’t have season one transmit effects unlocked, and the more recent one cost 5 legendary shards each so it is quite pointless
Wouldn't a better method of this be grinding out dares of eternity? cause you get the treasure keys for free and gear always drops from the chests to dismantle
The best way to get a lot of shards without spending any glimmer. As a matter of fact u get 10-13k glimmer for doing it, is The Blind Well on the Dreaming City. U can sit outside the Blind Well and let ppl do it and then come in at the last second get a kill and then u get to open the chest. The chest will give u 2-3 pieces of legendary gear and 13k glimmer (note that u only get the 13k glimmer if the well is on Tier 3) and then from there just dismantle your gear or put it in your locker to save up for next season. It may only give u 5-6 pieces of shards per gear but it’s better then nothing. And honestly after like a day or two u should be able to get what u want from Xur This is how I stay with legendary shards I always have around 400-500 because I spend more then I gain😂 But if u do this from Monday-Thursday then come Friday u honestly should get what u want every time Xur is here
Run Europa or Moon lost sectors for Herealways pieces and Nightmare essences...trade these at Rahool for glimmer. Then do this transmat trick to turn 250k glimmer into 83 legendary shards.
I just tried this. While I don't think this is a "fast" method for getting legendary shards, I can appreciate it as a kind of savings account. I rarely do not have 250,000 glimmer and it bugs me that so much glimmer I could have acquired goes to waste whereas there is no simple way to buy legendary shards. Transmat effects are stored on the Modifications tab in your inventory. That has 50 slots of which I have 49 available. I don't know what the stack cap on transmats is, but I have 546 in one stack, so I'm guessing 999. The way I see it, when I get back to 250,000 Glimmer and have nothing to buy, I can just buy more of the same transmat. If I ever get desperate for Legendary Shards, I can swing by Rahool and convert them. This is definitely not a get-rich-quick shard farm, but if you have even one of the season 1 blue transmats and extra glimmer, it could be helpful as a longer-term savings option. Each max stack of 999 blue transmats translates into 333 shards. And there's lots of space for stacks. (I currently have 46,617 shards, so with my luck, I'll do this and then Bungie will kill this method right when I need to convert them.)
I'm sorry but your Cryptark purchase screen is entirely different from mine and has three tabs, not two, so idk what hacks you got running but that's not part of MY game menu. So this is a waste of time. Thanks.

250 k glimmer translates to roughly 83 shards. Do what you will with that information. Frankly I don’t think it’s worth.

New players don't have extra glimmer or unlocked trasmat effects bud.

This is literally unusable for new players. As new players won't have very many flairs at all, especially ones from season one.
