On a road trip to Glen Co last summer we drove the exact route you did. Stopped off in the village with a castle to grab food from the shop and use the pub loos - we didn't know until we left that the castle was Leoch and Winterfell!

We have lots of history in America, I highly recommend Mesa Verde. It’s old ruins from a native tribe in Colorado. Remember some of the history has been whitewashed and erased but we can bring back. 😊

I love these videos! I'm someone that constantly takes photos of or stops at old churches when I'm on trips. FYI when your up in New England take a little mini adventure to Somerset and you'll find this beautiful church/castle that gives you an awesome view of Boston. Annnnd there's a Giant Mary Monument right outside of Boston that's gorgeous! I want to say its in the Lynn area but I'm not entirely sure.

I was wondering why you were so amazed by ruins and then you said you don't have them in the US?!? Whoa... literally pull you car over anywhere in the UK and you'll find ruins within 10 minutes.
how come you didn't know the US doesn't have ruins? i think the US is kind of boring you only see buildings but i would like to go and visit a country with a lot of ruins like Scotland and go visit some castles.
It never really occurred to me that the US didn't have ruins to be honest! I grew up in Cyprus, Greece & The UK so I've been surrounded by ruins my entire life. The town I live in and all the ones surrounding have ruins of Avalon so it's basically a weekly occurrence for me to see them.
Best way to avoid a jet lag that i have figured out is if you take a flight that reaches at night and just have dinner and sleep because the best way to get rid of a jet lag is to sleep it off. Do that if it is a morning flight as well check in and sleep a bit and then jet lag never hit....(atleast for me) tell me if this helps anyone :)
