    Another episode that should have been 15 mins long. Cole is the only Navy SEAL that gets caught more than a rainbow trout. And a 5-Star General working in the FOB / alien sinkhole… I never served but I have played enough COD to know that’s a stretch. Besides, the 5-star ranks were retired in 1981. Did the writers not have access to google? LOL
    And am I to believe that Rose used her administrative assistant SERE training in the corn field to evade the TRAINED MILITARY K9’S? She needs to teach Cole a thing or two. And to add insult to injury, 5 kids were about to sneak onto a “heavily guarded” compound… but not Cole… The SEAL gets caught EVERY TIME.

      They probably brought the rank back because all bets are off when you are under an alien invasion.

      HAHA, yeah it's a bit of a joke to be fair. I didnt even know that about 5 star generals.
      Caspa is psychic, that's how it got past the guards( says the brilliant writers haha)

    I think it’s another alien at the cornfield and the aliens spit the missing people out

    what a mess, still no real answer, Mitsuki was the only one I'm routing for
    Casper may be an alien. And the Nikil, who went in the ship with Mitsuki got what he deserved. She didn't kill the portal, it will come from somewhere else.And Ashia son maybe the missing one too.with the Chad, remember, he can stop the aliens.

    • @Sonic23Scorpio
      @Sonic23Scorpio 8 месяцев назад

      Don’t think he’s a alien I think they all are mentally linked to the hive.

      I think the episode was better than some of the others.
      Im not a fan of the thing being a Portal now, when at the start of the season it was supposed to be the ship defence.
      Nakil got what he deserved, I enjoyed that scene.
      Chad? I only remember Luke stopping them.

      I watched Casper carefully with the idea he's an alien and I see no evidence he isn't. Its plausible.

    Thank you for this. Very informative review of the episode. I thought this was a Cool episode but I liked how they were finally connecting the stories last week and even though they kind of are they didn’t show us anything. Thought we would’ve at least saw something with the girl who’d been taken with the alien shard. Oh well, we still have next week. Is 9 the last episode?

    • @Sonic23Scorpio
      @Sonic23Scorpio 8 месяцев назад +2

      I think the ship and the alien are one

      Thanks, Yeah it seems like they teased us quite a lot this week. Things are moving, but will episode 9 give us enough answers.
      There's 10 episode btw, but episode 10 is normally a drier episode as they wind things down.

    This series is moving at glacial speeds and as slow as its going and people are still struggling to understand exactly whats happening. Why?
    I think its because when you have a show with this much "filler" content, that is content thats almost entirely extraneous, added not becauase its important to the overall plot but just to drag things out. It becomes harder to identify the important parts, you are just bombared with so much extraneous information that the important bits mixed in get lost. I get it, a lot of people like that, they like the idea of trying to sort that out and hypothesize where the show is going. Its a decent enough show to keep watching I just wish the pace would pick up. I feel like we should be coming to an end of season 1 not 2.

      I couldn't agree more, I'm hooked on the premise of the show. I just dont know why they feel the need to drag it out so much.
      They saw the effect of Season 1 and had 2 years to improve the speed. I can only think maybe the writers are unsure of the ending?
      I'm torn over if I want a season 3 or not to be honest.

      @Q-Dads call me a tin foil hat conspiracy theorist lol but to me, it almost seems like the writers made a 2 season series, then the producers came back and said actually now we're thinking it can go 4 seasons. Writers say "but at the end of season 2 humans defeat the aliens, they leave and humanity begins to rebuild, that's end of the series."
      Producers say look apple is talking about likely going 4 seasons, they will pay us a lot of money so we better give them 4 seasons. The end of season 2 is now the end of season 4, write more to fill in the gaps.
      They had already written the essentials of the plot, so they didn't need any of this additional content to make the plot work.
      So you take each episode they originally had, break it in half, split it among 2 epidoes and write more to fill the gaps. Except everything new that you are adding is extraneous, it's not necessary for the story, the story would have worked without it, you are dragging out just for the sake of dragging it out.
      It's like yes, we get it. Mitsuki was devastated with the loss of her hinata, this is the 2020s, we're well aware that LGBT couples love their partners the same as straight couples. You don't have to spend an episode and a half to convince us how sad and hurt she is.....and yes Mitsuki and Maya Castillo are going to make a nice couple, I wish them all the best.

    • @Q-Dads
      @Q-Dads  8 месяцев назад

      It does sound strange, but It's possible we've seen shows do this before drag out final seasons or movies splitting them.
      There are so many random scenes that are just feel unneeded, most the stuff with the kids feels pointless. Aneesha's story is pointless until they actually do something with the shard or Luke.
      I remember these episode with Mitsuki, I can only assume they were trying to build her character and show us how much she cared?
      Yeah I can fully see Maya and Mitsuki getting together, And it's nice to explore their relationship as clearly Mitsuki is still very much in the mourning phase at the lose of Hinta.
      I just feel like it's not really the point of the show. It's almost like the Writers can't decided if they want a scifi show or they want a show on Human relationships in a crisis. Both are valid, but it feels like they're done it badly in this show.

    in this episode at 0:31 it's fascinating how she sits with the audio headphones on her head without having the wires connected. That model is not with BT, it is wired! Idiot director.

    "Started slow"? lol this show had 18 episodes of slow, tedious, dreadful storylines and absolute boredom. Only reason I'm still watching is to follow the hate reviews from a couple channels. There's no way this can be taken seriously. The writers obviously have no idea what they're doing with this.
    And yep, Trevante story is pointless. Absolutely nothing from there from day 1. Not much different from Aneesha's, though. Mitsuki and Casper stories are the only ones concerned with the plot and both of them move SO PAINFULLY SLOWLY that there's no way to watch the whole thing without skipping most of the time lol
