If you do play this game, make sure to do a little research on how to do the Frenzied Flame Questline in the game. Being filled in on what the Frenzied Flame is and knowing what it desires makes fighting this boss even more terrifying. Its literally a dance with Death, and the waltz-y feel of this horror masterpiece really sells that.

Wonderful analysis! The Lord of the Frenzied Flame one of the finest compositions in recent memory, for gaming especially. I'd recommend listening to Godrick the Grafted OST next if you want to listen to some more Elden Ring soundtracks. Other games like Bloodborne and Dark Souls are also made by the same makers as Elden Ring, those Soundtracks are also very nice
For a little information on this boss/track, “The Frenzied Flame” in the game is essentially a malevolent entity, and outer God, that has a singular desire of unmaking creation. It is an utterly abhorrent entity, and if left unchecked, would destroy the world physically and spiritually.
Midra, the Lord of Frenzied Flame, is an emissary of this entity. The grand and big sound of this track really hits home the existential threat he poses not just to the player as a boss, but to the entirety of creation within the game.
The Frenzied Flame is truly terrifying.
