I never would have thought a single piano performance could ever hold so much as a candle to the original. Obviously this doesn't hit quite as hard as the original song, but it's a single instrument doing the job of a full choir and orchestra hired by a triple A gaming studio known for it's incredible songs, and this is simply amazing. I know very little about music, the most knowledge I have is that it's nice to listen to. But regardless, as somebody who knows absolutely nothing about the effort that goes in to this sort of thing (and is just now starting to feel the effects of his Ritalin), I can say with out a shadow of doubt in my mind, that this is incredible. Well done.

The fact that it took you less than a month to convert this chaotic piece is insane, it took me half a year to play godrick the grafted theme you converted while back!
I knew this was a very hard piece to transcribe into piano, but holy you did not disappoint at all! I can see the struggle to adapt it to piano in parts like 1:51 where there are a lot of layers to cover, but you managed to keep the strong main melody among all the "chaos", i was very surprised. I also noticed that, unlike the original track, you highlighted the violin part in phase 2, the one that holds the melody of the frenzied merchant theme; i liked that decision. I hope you'll keep doing arrangements such as this and i suggest you to cover "Romina, the Saint of the Bud" next, that one could prove pretty interesting in some parts.

Outstanding arrangement and performance as ever! You can really feel Midra's arc in this one. And a great coda to top it all off, it really felt like the frenzy was quieting down and Midra finally got some peace
This theme is a masterpiece on it s own level. One I ll defininely remember every note, since I ve listened to the extended version of it for so long.. ..And also the way I got to experience it. Blind playhthrough, relatively short after DLC relese and I was awaiting some sick followup cinematic and fought through that smooth phase one. And suddenly at half health he begins doing different moves and I think to myself "oh that s a neat phase 2" - when in reality it was only the preparation for his phase transition, which he did and suddenly the entirety of the hall was lit on fire by the Flame of Frenzy, his idles seem to decrease in time and he becomes more agressive and the OST becoming louder and louder as if descending into madness. I ve always found it funny since in the game you refer to it as "The Lord of Frenzied Flame", when really, it follows the pattern: King, Lord, God, Outer God. With the Flame of Frenzy as your Outer God you technically ascend to goodhood on the spot, like Midra did. You sacrifice everything so that the Flame of Frenzy can take controll. Definitely one of the coolest cutscenes, when Midra, The Lord of Frenzied Flame casually twists the seal, which with he was bound, into a (movesetwise) Light Greatswod, whilst still holding onto that broken off piece, still in his other hand and using it as a seal (indicator for his "incantations"), and not only that but also casually using it as a dagger in close combat, all whilst remaining that eerie, surreal posture. That guy has like insanely little lore but will always be etched into my memory as one of the most FIRE bosses in the entirety of the fromsoft genre. (litterally)

I believe the original song (or at least the main melody of it) is written in C# hungarian minor, i.e. C# harmonic minor with a raised 4th. In case you haven't noticed
I might remake that cover one day because the Mystery Dungeon covers mean a lot to me personally, but if you would like to have a Synthesia version of that song right away it's possible for anyone to download the MIDI file from my Patreon and just open it in any Synthesia-like editor, such as Embers for example, which is free. Shaman village is just Elden Beast with only harps. Kindness of gold, without order. And there are, like, ~5 notes, repeating again and again. Imo, in reality you want Elden Beast cover.
