Another good one from Lorayne! Though you don't need a perfect second Faro and only require the top card of the bottom half to come to the top, it seems the only way to achieve this is do a perfect second Faro. (Considering that the only sure way to confirm a perfect split is that it allowed a perfect interleaving!) You could count and check that the number of clumped cards in the two halves are the same, but it is not reliable!

This is an amazing trick, however I am not good at the faro. The faro is one of those moves where I have practiced it for years with all the decks I own and I still can’t do it right. I will still practice the faro, and then I will learn the effect regardless.
    Great video!

When social media didn't exist, pro magicians grind to become better, a secret within the circle, Kept close.. now everything is absurd. Magic without a secret is dead..

You missed something..how do we know the number of cards the spectator got

Their card is the number they took, suppose the 5th card, then it is the bottom card they looked at. So, when 12 cards are at the bottom of the deck, the card right on top of that one (13) always is their card.

With the title here being “-Impossible to believe”, implies no one would ever be fooled due to that strange double negation of believability. I can’t be the only one to notice this.

It’s always the 13th card say you pick 8 you would have 4 cards left over and 8 cards added so that’s 12 and you card is 13th do the math

If a beginner doesn't want to do the double undercut, why not just throw the packet of 12 to the bottom when putting the cards back together? Do it quick enough and go in to a false cut, the spectator won't know. If they do, they'll probably not recognise the significance

Or you could just put the top 12 cards on the bottom of the deck.
