He's had issues since coming back from being fatigued to having illness, the birth of a child and an unspecified personal issue that mean he just wasn't in the right head space. All of that according to Pep and Foden is behind him now so I am going to put my hand up and 100% say he is nailed to start

@@davidvoskanian2025 the safest pick is Solanke & Johnson for mins but it depends on the kind of manager you are. Safe & steady or risk & possible reward. I agree that Arteta could be lying (and apparently David Seaman saw him with boots on for training). I only have 1 transfer and I have to risk selling/keeping Saka or Welbeck. I've chosen to transfer out Welbeck for Wissa and put Wissa on my bench with Solanke and Wood up front. If Saka doesn't start then Wissa is my sub in and I feel that either return is worth the risk!... Thanks again for an amazing and informative video!! 🔥
@@Mid40s Because the sub in from my bench if Saka doesn't play is Welbeck who isn't a definite start due to injury, so I'd prefer to add some confidence with Wissa being fit and is likely to play. I think the higher risk starting Saka is a higher reward if he does, but having Wissa there to come in if Saka doesn't play is my safety net. Plus I was looking at transferring in Welbeck for Wissa anyway due to the really good run of Brentford fixtures so I don't feel like it's a waste adding him in this week 🙂
Perfect timing! Raptor pack what do we think of Buononatte as an 8th attacker? 🦖 I’ve got 3FT but am thinking about Diaz > Palmer, Saka > Son, Semenyo > Buononatte, and Solanke > Jiminez (-4). Then I can keep TAA and have 3 premiums… or I just get Johnson instead of Son and use 2FT
I’ve been thinking about Damsgaard as well. He’s a consideration if you don’t already have double Brentford. Great fixtures, massive assist threat and similar price
Both Foden and Son for me. 3 free transfers: TAA, Saka, Semenyo out for Foden, Son, and Ait-Nouri (subject to press conferences). Ta for the interesting perspectives, Ross
Enjoyed your video. Had already took a -4 to bring in Palmer, Wissa and Raul for Sancho, Solanke and Havertz. Own Foden already and have used TC on Haaland. Optimistic for my best returns this week. 😊
Hi great video Ross! Superb stuff! Elite content! I have a dilemma this week. Thinking about bringing in Salah and Raul for Saka and Havertz for a -4 or just having Son instead of Saka for free. Any though thoughts thanks
Ross another angle to look at Foden is this …. If he does NOT start vs Southampton, where would your head be at for the next gameweek? Would you be then looking to move him on again?
Saka has been one of the most consistent returners in FPL so far this season, he's literally returned in every single game so far except for Leicester at home (where he had an assist taken from him, but still got 1 bonus), and that run included games away to Spurs, City, and Villa. I don't care how tough his fixtures look on paper, he's going nowhere for me unless we get confirmation he's out
My gut feeling for this week is Wissa - Raul has maybe had 5x the number of transfers-in although perhaps more aimed at future gameweeks. Raul is great but Everton have tightened up defensively
That's a wonderful video, Mr. I've also got 3 free transfers, but I'm thinking of Wildcarding in Gameweek 12, so I might have some more short term picks and get Palmer in, when Chelsea's fixtures get better. My main dilemma is Gvardiol vs Gabriel
Another benching headache this week, Gabriel, Trent, Semenyo, Gordon, Saka, you just know Gordon will haul after doing nothing in the easier Everton and Brighton games, his data was actually good in those games
I have Saka and Foden. With Son rumoured to be out, my options are: - Keep Saka and bench him - Sell Saka for Palmer Which would you advise? (I don’t particularly want Palmer but I have the funds to get him… is it silly to leave 10m on my bench rather than get Palmer? I only have 1FT
as pointed out below, Foden's illness is behind him, and although Pep may love Gundo, he was there as cover and not to be the Gundo of old. Haaland will demand better supply than he has had in the past 3GWs so Foden will be there until Kev returns.
It may well be Southampton, just as it was "may well be Ipswich" earlier in the season, but I just feel more confident using such a valuable chip in a double gameweek where there are 2 opportunities to maximise the chip score. The fixtures and players we get in a double might not be great (flashbacks to Dennis & Dunk), but it's playing the percentages. Save the TC for a DGW.
while I do agree people should save the chip I can understand using it aswell. 1 there is going to be less double gws this year and 2 southampton have been awful at the back. if kdb or rodi start against southampton then id triple captain haaland aswell but I think both are out long term ((not too sure will need to check))
Pressed TC on Wednesday and not touched it since. Dreaded Friday night deadline aka wee hours in China so as long as there’s no late news of a Gabriel benching whilst I’m akip then I’m happy.
Ross always love the videos. Im one of those who triple captained in GW2 when the Robot scored 17. With competitors tempted to use the triple this week whats the best differential strategy to counter. Captain Erling and hope the damage isn't high with multiple returnees? or go real differential and put the arm band on someone else and hope for the best.
I think just captain Haaland, unless you truly believe someone else is just as good or better. I don’t mind Mbeumo or Palmer, but Haaland is well clear for me
Ross, good sir, will you be doing a deadline stream this week given the earlier deadline? Edit: Ok I’m a minute in and you’ve answered haha my bad! Thank you for your constant uploads btw, full faith in your advice and the season can only be looking up from here! Kudos!
We saw how Kovacic, Gundo and Bernado performed against Wolves, Pep won't make that mistake again, he needs creativity, we could always go Bernando wing and Foden central
Haaland will have 2 other fouble gameweeks assuming Man City progress in FA Cup beyond round 5. I would keep the TC chip for later, Palmer or Salah could easily have a solid home match in their double gwk too. Man City scoring 5 goals, importantly, does not mean Haaland gets 3/4 goals.
I have no idea what to do today...I've got raya ,Gabriel trent n saka in...and feel like that's got a 6 point defence altogether all over it . Raya to selz/sanchez Trent + saka to salah + ait nouri or saka to son instead of that

probably. spurs fan here, wouldn’t be surprised if maddison is benched this week. ange subbed off maddison for sarr last week and we went insane. he also played 73 minutes in the europa league, not much turnaround time before the palace game.
Hi Ross, would you free hit this week if you have no City assets? I have a no Haaland team - Sels, Porro, Digne, Gabriel, Palmer, Saka, Salah, Mbeumo, Watkins, Jackson and CL (Rogers first bench). My free hit team would be Ederson, Dunk, Digne, Pinnock, Palmer, Foden, Mbeumo, Rutter (Georginio), Wood, Watkins and Haaland (c) (Rogers first bench) - I think the value of the free hit chip is lowered due to lack of cup game weekends this year and I want to continue with a no Haaland team in future, but I feel this weekend Haaland might go off and get a big score, and I have no clear captain choice.... thoughts?
LFC fixtures really aren't even that good over the next 5. Arsenal & City the obvious tough games where you wouldn't expect a clean sheet. But Brighton & Villa are absolutely 2 games you could see Liverpool not winning, the only slight hope for them is that they play them at home!
