I talked with Kevin himself about this song in 2017. It's about a Muslim man who was indefinitely detained and tortured during interrogation bc they had confused him with someone on a watch list. It's told from his perspective, trying to ground himself by remembering his home and family.
It's cool that he's playing drums for himself.
