The most bestest underrated music band ever
Every indie band has one of you making this comment on their video. Inevitable
Sorry to be so off topic but does anyone know a way to log back into an instagram account?
I stupidly lost the login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@Turner Everett instablaster :)
fucking so underrated with their millions of views. It's such a shame only a handful of people have ever heard of this band. You fucking twat
that bass lick is just absolutely all time classic. one of the happier ones stuck in my head all day.
And she keep it dead solid steady! Beautriful execution of a simple line that gets exhausting REALLY fast!
"I'm ready when you're ready. Actually, I'm ready now." 😄
Just amazing... I never really appreciated just how great it is until this video!
needs a better mic tbh
Absolutely awesome! She plays that bass perfectly like a cyborg and his voice gives me goosebumps every time. One of the best ever.
Eh she had one bad note in there
She’s no justin chanchellor lol but shes groovy
Damn dude got a really good voice live. That's tight
Pure talent!
I love being able to hear Nikkis singing more prominently in this recording then the studio. It's such a nice overtone to the whole thing
all of their live acoustic sessions are honestly so much better than the record versions
That freaking bass line is amazing. She is amazing
When you can sound just like the record (speaking about vocals) you know its actual talent! Great stuff!
those people are lucky to see this live performance
their bassist is stunning 😍
Wildly underrated...some serious talent in that room for sure.
Never get tired of playing this piece. One day I will see you.
Me neither.
Their songs are wonderful in acoustics . Nikki killing it on bass too.❤❤❤❤❤

I love these two. Their exchanges at concerts is great.
On todays episode of random songs popping in my head
Damn man i cant believe its been this long now. Always dug this song even though i never really gave the group much of a listen
They're awesome! It's been a bit since I've dug deep with them, but check out the rest of the album this song is from: Swoon. Subtitution, Growing Old is Getting Old, and There's No Secrets This Year are some highlights imo.
Incredible performance. Glad to see y'all still kicking ass. Haven't heard you in forever! Love your music.

KEXP is a Northwest *treasure*. If you ever need a reason to support public radio....
Check out Mudhoney's Touch Me I'm Sick at the top of the Needle [from KEXP].
No, I don't work there. Just a music fan.
Fucking awesome!!!!!
Is someone paying youtube to play this? I can't escape silver sun pickups
I thought this song came out in the 90’s
That Egg shaker was killa and jam is killa 2 ..
Nikki Monninger OMG... xo
sitting on the dock of the bay

Fuck yes! Fuck yes!
Nikki
When you see yourself in a crowded room
Do your fingers itch, are you pistol-whipped?
will you step in line or release the glitch?
Can you fall asleep with a panic switch?
Downright dirty leaving her to play that line so long. Carpal tunnels for sure.
Your kidding right? She's a professional and talented musician, probably could play all day
@@Hey-vk7em yes I realize she's a professional, and she handled it like a professional. I've also been playing bass since '98 and know the most common ailment in the "bass" community is carpal tunnel syndrome. It's not something that gets better over time. The more you play (e.g. a professional) the worse it gets.
Watch again from 3:45 you can literally see the agony in her expressions after a bit of his clowning and drawing it out. She looks like she could kill him.
matt22blaster I stand by my comment. I see Professionals having fun..
@@Hey-vk7em Good for you
@@matt22blaster that was just part of the gig, she could play that bass line twice as long if she had to.
Edit I just found another live version of this where he leaves her playing bass to go shopping for her requested grocery list, it's definitely a part of the act.
Bir yerlerden araklanmışa benziyor.
I thought the bass sounded cool with an electric guitar, even more bad ass with an acoustic
That hurt my fingers just watching her rip that bass line in standard tuning. Did she lose a bet or something?
No, they do a rendition of this gag in a lot of their live duos. I saw one where he left for a couple of minutes to go shopping for her requested grocery list.
k, lol, see you got the gist of it....
Very Nirvanaish'.
Looks a little like Bill Paxton
dr phil
he messed up the rhythm of his own song right at the beginning :/
so? it happens to every artist once in a while.
@@icantell just sucks i can't find a good live version.
Joseph Payne you could just cut the beginning out of it bothers you, but I think it adds a lot of character to the performance.
Must have been the cocktail
White people bobbing their heads back and forth...lol
This version is so good
