It becomes exponentially less likely to get another discover each time you do. You see 3 cards, then you see 3 cards, which must all be different, otherwise the chain ends. Now you've seen a total of 6 cards, and now you see 3 more cards, and so on. You also have to remember that while the wild minion pool is horrendous, the spell pool is less so because there are so few neutral spells. You'll still probably draw a near full hand, but it's not like you'll go through dozens of discovers and lose your whole turn.
Mage still has the 4 mana legendary that makes card that didn't start in your deck cost 4 less but not less then 1. It saw no play but if you set up the mana fresh draenai on a previous turn and play that on turn 10 with this new mage draenei legendary you should be able to spam 5 or less mana spells for 0 considering how previous interactions like this worked. The "minus 4 but not less then 1" is a global effect and if you play that card first it should apply before the "reduced its cost by 1" of this new draenei applies making all 5 or less mana spells cost 0 and every 6 or more cost 5 less! It's a three card combo but it look insane!!!!!

Funny how I was thinking Instructor Fireheart would still be a 5* card in today's HS, the question is, is this new legendary slightly worse Fireheart because the higher cost and no lightning bloom (I'm aware Fireheart can't get 0 mana spells anymore but I was thinking about her relase version) or a bit better because easier to go pseudo-infinite and find what you need .
I’d argue it’s slightly better than fireheart. As long as you play two of the spells, it’ll be the same mana spent as fireheart+ you get 1 more mana discount. It can also be free with the other mage dranei, and have other dranei synergies. If you play it with apprentice in wild, the 1 mana reduction does make spells go to zero I believe. So you can technically go infinite until you otk your opponent if you have enough apprentices
Is there ever an angle where you play this turn 6 with Tae’lan and Exarch Hataaru after playing the refresh Drae’nei on turn 5? You would have 2 mana left over and all spells you’re discovering cost 5 less assuming hattaru’s one cost reduction applies past Tae’lan’s (not less than one) restriction?
They've actually already done this. Druid cards like Contaminated Lasher which was a 3 cost card that refreshed 4 mana when played. You also had Wind-Up Sapling which could refresh more mana than it cost. As well as Funnel Cake which is 1 mana refresh 3 if you get the overheals. Of course, you have also cards like Kun and Eonar which are effectively 0 mana cards due to being 10 mana refresh your mana, but with additional crystals or mana discounts they end up being negative mana cost by giving more than they cost.

You can play espionage in standard now, which I'm 120% confident is better than blasteroid into mixtape(which is a 2 mana loss untill you draw other blasteroid cards)
If Blazing Accretion can draw out Incendius Eruptions (fire spells) that will be interesting. Now how to get Shudderwock in Mage or Blazing Accretions in Shaman?

Gonna try Starship big attack hunter(biopod and the Exodar offensive formation deals attack damage to a random enemy"exodar the damage is split like taptap tap"), your minions attack warrior, Draenei priest, Battlecry asteroid shaman. I will also make Wheel warlock but with pay 5mana get taunt divine shield and lifesteal Starship. 3/4. 3/2 and 3/2 heart of the Legion equals 9/8 in stats
I've played a fair amount of elemental mage and it does sometimes have a problem of reach later in the game extra fire spells will likely be a good addition. Hataaru is pretty insane with Velen. I suspect there will be a lot of Reno at the start of the expansion.
At the least, Blasteroid helps you do that dumb 12 Fire spells quest. Hataaru is fun one of the highest skilled cards printed in awhile. You want to know the true values of each card and also plan out how you can eventually get infinite spells. Also works GREAT with Concierge.
Concierge won't work with Hataaru. Tae'thalan will though. So if you discover cards that cost 5 or less, they will be 0 mana (Tae'thalan reduces them to not less than 1, then Hataaru reduces them from 1 to 0)
Spontaneous combustion being able to go face is fun, but idk that I'd want the random missing the problem minion and hitting them in the face on turns 2-6.

I think blasteroid is decent in standard minus the new 8 mana do nothing. In wild, this could add a lot of things like 1 mana deal 2 or 0 mana discount your next elemental. You might even get double or triple secrets that you don't want.
Blasteroid is random spells. Meaning from any class. Meaning you can get all the junk fire spells from other classes. It also suffers from the Espionage syndrome, where you still need to actually draw these junk cards.
I beat druid on death knight using 5 Cologarns to sack his 3 Cologarns. None of us even run Cologarn😂 If you love something, it'll come to you no matter what lol

Just occurred to me - since the HS team is so much in love with things costing 0, why not allow negative cost too? Restoring mana when played...

They've actually already done this.
Druid cards like Contaminated Lasher which was a 3 cost card that refreshed 4 mana when played.

Some of these cards just seem to have their playtime on rotation, when a lot of stuff is gone and you need to fill card slots.
