I don't completely agree with Biswa . 1.The risk taking has decreased a lot 2. Quality of game has decreased as Biswa himself agree on that . 3. Both the players are not World champ material as of now . Reason: Ding lost to many 2600-2700 players after he became world champion. He is not even a top 3 player , & i am not considering Magnus here. Fabi , ian , pragg , hikaru are much better than him . No wrong take. The simple point is let's say someone other than gukesh or ding playing the same matches with same quality level(say fabi or hikaru) people would still say the same. Take magnus vs vishy matches where some 0.2 advantage would be grinded into a winning game which is'nt happening at all now. There is no question that gukesh and ding do deserve playing these matches since they met all the requirements by winning on different GMs . All people are saying that matches are not that level as a world cup match.

Quality of conversion is poor from both sides.. That is not what is expected in a WCC match.. Standard definitely needs to be high which it is not currently and half of the match is already over.. In hindsight Kasparov was correct.. It is not looking like a fight between the best chess players in the World..!!
