    Hi, why my staad pro doesnt show "Effective length command" in the design tab?

    Madam, When are we going to see this effective length calculator design parameter wrt IS code (IS 800 2007)?

      Currently, the Effective Length Calculator is calculating the K (effective length factor) and L (unbraced length) according to the Effective Length Method described in the AISC 360-16 Appendix 7. Although the international codes (including the EuroCode and the IS800) have not been implemented yet, you may still find value in using this tool to calculate the L (unbraced lengths) for your steel members.

      No, I read yesterday a publication on LinkedIn from one of the Bently's Engineer saying that is only for AISC, for now...
