Congrats on the sponsorship glad to see the channel grow so quickly, in regards to the oil, As a gen 1 owner a lot of us (myself included) have made the switch to 5w-30, Its mentioned in the gen 1 owners manual that either 0w20 it 5w30 are acceptable. Id still double check with your owners manual and maybe check with a local 86/brz specailst or tuner to see what their customers are running.

Thanks mate! I'll definitely be doing my research before I make the switch 😎

5w 30 cars have had starvation issues on track as well, a middle ground is best imo for efficiency as well

Recently installed neomaxes myself and i’m pretty sure i know the issue. The tolerances for the rear lower control arm mount, with the little spacers made out of steel are way too loose. they jiggle around and don’t hold the rear in accurately

Hmm interesting 🤔 Are you getting the same clunking?

@@00Lach Nowhere near as bad as yours coming from the rear, but I have out something else for the front knuckle. I was getting loose feeling steering randomly. The true cause of my intermittent steering problems, the damn front knuckle bolt slides around in its slotted camber hole. Pressed on the side of my wheel and it had play, drove home and it went away. I had torqued it to spec but it seems I have to overtorque it.
I believe your version had the same slotted upper camber hole for the knuckle, it was probably sliding around in that and not set properly. you really gotta get that bolt to clamp down on it

@@shiikon2193 Interesting 🤔 So how did you get the camber bolt to stop moving up and down within the hole? I torqued mine super tight and it didn't make a difference

@@00Lach Retightened and over torqued it today, if it doesn't fix my problem I'm going to try some lock washers or making a spacer that makes the camber slot fixed

@@shiikon2193 I just installed new coils from another brand and they don't clunk anymore. I'd recommend getting your money back mate. They're already aware of the situation and hopefully shouldn't be a long process like what happened to me
