Shoes specifically for use on the moon seems like a reasonable idea, if you really think about it. Apparently the dirt on the moon is so fine that it can get into your lungs and eventually suffocate you or something like that. It's so fine that it's dangerous to come into contact with, so shoes designed to interact with that on a regular basis makes a bit of sense.
BadAssMutha006 I feel like part of the whole space suit would be the shoes, so purchasing them would be pointless.
People would need shoes, but they'd also need clothes, chairs and beds, plates and cutlery, fridges and washing machines.... I don't know why he thought "shoes" was the crucial thing.
