Hey, this project was so impressive. Before watching that I didn't have any idea that...this kinda nice project can be the part of UI/UX case study. Thanks for sharing with us. Please share more project with us.❤
Thanks so much! I think that most of the UX content you see online is focused around apps / web design but UX is honestly about any human to X relationship and making that experience as human-centered as possible, could be architecture, interior design, industrial design, exhibition design all of those fields deal with human experience to some extent. And, I will, I have a couple more projects to share. 😁
Hi! I just discovered your channel yesterday. I love your spirit and content so very much. Thank you for all the insights and reminding us design is fun✨
Hi! OMG we should make that the tagline for the channel - "Make Design Fun Again" !!!Thanks so much for being here and sharing the feedback, it definitely motivates me to keep making content 💛 ✨
Yes, you are amazing and inspiring! I had so much fun watching and laughing through many of them. It made me forget the struggles I am dealing with in my current job search and look at it with a fresh perspective again 💘
Oh no! I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with this dumb job market. Hang in there, I'm going through my own layoff anxiety too - we're in this together! *hugs*
Hey Ricardo! This was such an amazing project you shared! Thank you for your insights! What if instead of interaction design my interest is more towards the visual design? Are there many job roles for visual design in the current market? Also how to go about such projects that you have shown if you have no knowledge whatsoever of circuits and breadboards , arduino etc (whatever was used sorry )
Hi Ricardo, thanks for sharing your amazing project. Could you please suggest some ways to come up with unique problem statements for the portfolio? Thank you
Hi! thank you so much for your videos, they have been immensely helpful! I had a few inquiries: i often get stuck in a loop of restructuring my case study on what to include for so long i feel like i never get on to the actual design of the product... anything to help with that? :( im never sure on what to prioritise!
Hi! You're very welcome. I totally understand, it even happens to me, that's why I still haven't updated my portfolio haha So, if you're running into this issue, I would look at your case study from a high level and focus on each phase of the design process (pick your favorite methodology like the double diamond). I would make sure that your case study has an example for each phase so, let's say, for discovery and research have some user interviews, for iterate some wireframes, etc and that way you can constrain yourself and keep making progress towards the finished design. Hope this helps!
Hiiii👋👋thank you for your great video!!! I'm curious, so I'm leaving a comment. I'm a designer with three years of experience working in-house at a pharmaceutical company, plus an additional 1-2 years of freelance experience. I'm currently looking for a junior position but facing some challenges. When creating my portfolio, should I focus on similar domains like pharmaceuticals, health, or wellness? I ask this question because I'm in Canada, where there is a higher demand for UX designers in sectors such as real estate, insurance, and banking. I would like to hear your opinion !! 🙏🙏
I find your video interesting, I am a UI designer in a company here in Philippines and I’m kinda transitioning into UI/UX Designer also and learning UX Google certification as well as English Speaking skills. This helps a lot, good luck on your journey in this Platform 🎉🫡
What would research look like for someone who's working remotely? For example, do companies typically have a pool of clients that designers reach out to? I guess what I'm asking is, how would I find a group of people to conduct research as a remote designer? Thank you!
Hi! So large companies usually have a research team that works with an external recruiting vendor that helps them find research participants and for smaller companies, they often use services like Usertesting.com to test designs where you can set the criteria, the questions, the type of study, etc. Usertesting.com is also a great way to test your designs for your case studies, depending on how much they charge. Hope this helps!
Hahaha BECAUSE I'M BROKE! jk jk you'd be surprised how much money I spent when I was networking in UX (before Google and before having my first UX job) buying designers coffee to get to know them and build connections. Nobody needs to buy me coffee but definitely helps me stay caffeinated while I make all of this free content for you all in my spare time 😉
@@rahpstudio Thank you for all your free videos it helps a lot, so on the fun side, on the ux side l assume most of your contect users are first time design job seekers like me🤭, almost broke but have high passion for design. You indeed motivate us by making us think in different and unique ways
@@rashmir5731 You're very welcome! I was telling someone else this but hearing that positive feedback keeps me motivated to make more content so thank yo so much for sharing. I have been there too i.e. beginning & almost broke but wanting to learn UX so I can totally relate but, if I can do it, you can too, so keep at it!
You know I am here for your growth and have been a fan from day 1-- haha you have been so helpful as I navigate kicking of my career in product design and can't tell you how much I admire how you take the time to provide these resources while having a FULL TIME JOB! Incredible. Keep it up
OMG you made me tear up 🥹 THANK YOU for recognizing the hustle because it's real. Sometimes I'm super tired and don't feel like I have the energy to make videos but then I read comments like yours and they get me hyped and motivated to create more content. Thanks so much for the boost and for the support - it means the world!
