Are you letting that glue flash before installing? And what is that tempro stuff? I replaced an entire story of a hospital because they let the glue dry a little before installing. That has to be a different glue
Does the cortex effect the glue in any way? Like pull it up off the floor and then it sticks to the cortex and gets dirty? I never seen that it’s great idea.

The capping and vinyl will fail using spray contact.
I agree with you, unless caping is stuck with double-sided tape and
vinyl fitted correctly.
