I’ve done a ton of Venenatis(3100kc) and Spindel(4200kc) solo and I’d suggest using the DWH to get one spec off at Venenatis, really speeds up the kills drastically while bringing the same amount of risk. My usual +4 items are dwh, ursine mace, avernic def, and light bearer

But this might be good for one team member doing Venenatis and everyone else with chainmace?
Dinh's Bulwark is used for clearing out spiderlings with larger teams, but IMO you're better off giving those players Dragon Warhammers instead to speed up the kill, then use chinchompas on the spiderlings if there's too many spiderlings to deal with with darts
What do you think about using the collosal blade from the giants foundry mini game at spider bosses. It has huge crush and strength bonus and does more damage vs larger enemies
Collosal blade can hit hard on the spiders, and it has a good enough crush bones to be viable on Spindel. It's very slow though, so I think the overall DPS isn't very good. Prolly lands just above dragon mace. Maybe better than Leaf bladed B-axe
@@TheEdB0ys for mid level ironmen the Colossal Blade absolutely shreds. I was able to easily get 250+ Calvarion kills in 2 days with Colossal Blade. It's very slept on. (80 atk/84str/79def for reference)

There's no changing how slow the weapon is, so a lot of other options end up being better, even though it does hit well. I wouldn't say it's "slept on" as much as I would say there's just better options down the road. So if it's the best option you have atm, then have at it. That being said, this guide (and the original question) are asking about the Spiders, not Calvarion

I streamed ~10 hours of Wildy bosses last night (right around the time you made this comment it turns out, wild timing), and I saw way less PKers than usual. It's like it's own RNG. Sometimes you see PKers, sometimes you don't. But I believe 100% that if you couldn't get even 3 kills on the spider, then you gave up too early. I got like 100+ Venenatis KC last night on the budget account

so i took the time to watch through this, got my basic gear ready to try it out, and couldnt even do 1 point of damage in like 25 swings, died nearly instantly from full hp and all i did was lose money not sure what i even did wrong. i hate trying to learn things that require you to risk your own gear when they can be difficult to learn, never feels good to learn
Your numbers don't add up at all man. You're seeing a PKer every 4 minutes for a full hour? And after 10+ times of this, you're still risking over 3m per inventory?? You gotta make better decisions in the wilderness
@@TheEdB0ys Bro, I was obviously exaggerating. I was so enraged. I wanted to go for 20 Calvarion kc but got pked 3 times in less than one hour and gave up at 10 kc. I lost about 700k in revenant ether, lost 2 entry fees with 1 and 0 kills so that's another 90k and let's say 500k in loot and supplies. It's just sad how this content is completely impossible because of all the degenerates in the wilderness. And they always have to say stuff like "sit" so I report them for macroing, hoping for the occasional perma ban.

But for it to be viable, you have to be willing to get PKed sometimes, and usually not give up after only 10kc Again though, for ANY boss, if you're getting this frustrated you should move on to something else. It's just a game, you feel?

Those clips with the Blugeon are on an Ironman that hadn't done any Revanents. Chainmace is still better DPS for sure
