I read many posts that say he is the alien and his spaceship crashed. While he was waiting for it to get fixe/powered up, he met this family. The little girl is ARMY. She taught him what love is and what family is. When the he saw the light he had to go back to the ship. He gave the little girl the helmet to protect her. Helping her to learn how to ride the bike was him teaching us that we can do it now without his help. It also could be his dongsaeng (younger brothers). He helped them grow up and now they can do it without him as well. Then he gets to the ship to leave (the military) and then he comes back to us, his family.
I just love gift to us and I love him so much and how utterly thoughtful he is towards us. Im going to miss him so much!
At the concert last night Chris told the audience that 6 months ago Jin called him up and told him he was going into military and want to gift ARMY a goodbye song. This song is what Jin and Chris wrote together and last night was his first and last performance. I don't think there was a dry eye in the house. I love the idea that ARMY and BTS are family. Jin is a professional Actor. He has a major degree in Acting by Konkuk University. It was going there in the bus, when an agent from Big Hit saw him (thought he was a handsome guy) and made the offer which change his and our lives forever. 💜

I loved how you paid attention to the small details, in the song, Jin is from space and his ship crashed on the ground, and the little girl was playing with him and teaching him a lot and this girl represents us, the army that we are always with him and he was about to leave but he remembered the little girl and decided to stay with her because he considered the earth is his homeland and his home and in the end he was happy with his decision and the girl was waiting for him and she represented us. It's Jin's song to ARMY who gave him a home. With the bike representing RM and the girl being ARMY, Jin is leaving us in good hands until he returns.

One explanation video I watched said that code on Jin's neck is braille for Army. Yes it's Coldplay who collaborated with Jin on this song as his love letter to the Army before he leaves the band for 2 years while he enlists in the military. It's also worth noting the pick-up truck he rode in is the same truck in BTS' Most Beautiful Life that also made a cameo in Yet to Come. You're amazing for noticing all the other Easter eggs that other reactors didn't notice.

I love this MV so much as it captures everything what jin and what his daily life is about and shows us armys that whenever he leaves home it's the first thing he misses.

The way Chris and Coldplay set Jin up and just wingman - ed him and pumped him up and literally pushed/encouraged Jin to take this song they did live in Argentina during a Coldplay concert was literally one of the most selfless acts of love and admiration I've ever seen one artist bestow to another visiting artist during their concert. It was true magical and the PERFECT way for Jin to say goodbye to ARMY for the next 18-ish months. Super emotional. This is a lovely sayonara serenade swan song..for now...

The message is a hug from Jin to Army - He loves ARMY - I'll be back. RM/Leader wore an astronaut suit in one of their videos, BTS is always running, riding in the back of the pickup truck was a BTS Yet To Come, he only smiles 3x and sings one line in this video. Yes, it's a collab with Coldplay. They just performed it live together in Buenos Aires and the live version is on the BangtanTV channel as of today as well. It's so good to see the interaction and Jin sounds so good. Others have explained the story, but basically Jin is the alient, but found family in BTS and ARMY. It is a Goodbye, you can be strong in my absence, but I'll Be Back story, as Jin is about to enlist in the military. Many of us have been in tears watching this. Somewhere, Chris Martin explains how the song came about - it started about 6 months ago.

This song is absolutely beautiful and I got emotional watching and listening to it.
Not sure if this is correct, but I interpreted it as this: He's an astronaut from another planet and crash landed to Earth. He's been waiting for a chance to leave and in the meantime, made friends with the little girl and has been enjoying his time here. One day, he hears the news of a new ship and sees the beacon, jumps up and is ready to leave. By the time he gets to his ship, he realizes that he doesn't want to leave and that this is his home so he decides to stay and head back.
There's so many references to Army in this and I believe that Earth and the little girl represents Army, his home. I think it's just a dedication to us and even though he's leaving for a short time, he'll be back because we (Army and BTS) are his home and family. That's why its so emotional and he gives that look in the end. It's not a goodbye, but an, "I'll see you soon."

When he's teaching the girl to ride the bike he's pushing her from behind and cheering her on.. Army will always be his safe place.. He is the alien. Astronaut, if you will, of the crashed spaceship. An ET vibe. The little girl (army) shows him love and is there for him in the beginning. When he saw the light from the sky he knew help arrived from his world and he could go back to his planet. As he journeyed there he kept remembering that little girl (army) and the happy memories they made together. He no longer wanted to go back to life before. He stayed in the little girls (army) world because he had family, love, it was cozy. He learned to smile.

He is the astronaut who crashed on earth, waiting to be rescued and deciding he found something on earth he never felt before, he decided to stay. Jin wrote the lyrics to ARMY.
I strongly suggest that you watch the live performance of Jin with Coldplay in ArJintina especially were Chris of Coldplay talk about the back story of the song and the part we're Jin run in the stage to give Chris a hug and Chris in return gave a brotherly kiss. It was an emotional moment for the ARMY. By the way the girl in the mv represents the ARMY and several hidden representation ie the pick-up truck etc.
There Seokjin who be the Astronaut. He went down to earth so the story was about meeting the little girl he was with. Until finally he chose to stay on earth instead of returning to space.
1. The little girl is like an ARMY here.
2. UFO + Space is like the basics of Seokjin back when he wanted to be an actor.
3. The earth is like BTS.
So during the seokjin on earth (bts) he spent his time with girl (Army) taught to ride a bicycle (love myself and be confident) until finally the girl can go alone on a bicycle (loving myself and found her magic Shop)
Then he went back to the ufo but seokjin chose to stay on earth and go home.
And in the ending there is the sound of the little girl bicycle bell sounding again, it is like the Army will always be there for seokjin until whenever
