Dude been said if there was an opportunity to get to Philly, he’d take it. The Eagles had joint practices 2 years straight, and Andrew Berry and Howie are still really close. The Browns will do him a solid,
Howies gonna trade a 1st, 3rd, and Bryce Huff for him. Watch! Howies gonna stay ahead of the eightball seeing he needs pass rush for Jayden Daniels. Go Birds!
Miles wants to compete for a championship so it’s not 31 teams it’s 5 or 6 at best & the Eagles are one of them; not any of the teams that missed the playoffs except maybe the Niners
I know. He’s a NY guy that worked for Chiefs. But he’s a pencil necked geek that probably doesn’t like strong ppl - hence why he’s always boning for DC or LA or his NY teams. He’s not long for this TV media. Watch.
I am seriously curious how the eagles are balancing these salaries. $50m per year QB, highly paid offensive line, 2 highly paid receivers, bunch of highly paid defensive lineman. How are they affording all this
Our owners is not cheap! Half of the owners will not put up the money in escrow for bonuses. Jeff lets Howie do whatever he wants and has longevity over current GMs. Once that contract is signed that whole bonuse needs to be liquid.
It’s called being a draft wizard. Most of the players on the defense are on rookie deals. Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith both have 2 more years left on their rookie deals. Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper Dejean are rookies. Nakobe Dean is still on his rookie deal. Josh Sweat will be a free agent and BG more than likely will be retiring. Zach Baun and Milton Williams I believe are the the only 2 who will be looking for a contract in the offseason on the defense
Garrett probably talkin' to everyone at the Pro Bowl (especially Mayfield) and realizing the best option is probably to leave. Sucks because they have a two time COTY.
As a huge Eagles fan, I don't think we'd have the cap unless we do a ton of restructuring or possibly trade away Huff and his contract obligations. We're set to be losers in free agency and have some key players to decide whether to re-sign (we NEED to get Zack Baun re-signed). Trust me, though, I'm dying for Howie to prove me wrong on this.
If the eagles traded for Garrett, they would have the greatest defense of all time next year. I don’t know about anything after. But next year would be the only team that could be greater than that 2000 ravens defense
I feel like you contradicted yourself by saying he wont cost as much as ppl think and that every single team should be in on it at that price. The starting point is 2 firsts imo. If Im Cleveland I want 2 firsts and a player back. Like I want Nolan Smith and 2 first from Phili if they come calling.(considering theyre terrible first round picks most likely)
Vikings should tag/trade Darnold and draft compensation for him. They easily have the cap space and it would give the Browns a qb while also allowing them to draft Abdul Carter at 2nd overall
The last thing the Browns need is another veteran QB to take up cap space lol. But then again, anything you shouldn't do as a GM the Browns tend to do just that so maybe they will lol
@ lol. On that thought, Justin Tucker is gonna get traded there for big money lmao But Darnold is in his prime age though, so he still could have 10 years left
The Eagles only have one 100 million dollar+ contract on their roster, (Hurts) which is pretty incredible cap management by Roseman considering the number of star players they have. I would trade a 2025 first rounder and more for him. After all, that first rounder will be no higher than pick #31, so it's almost a 2nd round value. Roseman has the cap space to pay Garrett.
@@zacharyminor9593slays most likely walking, Josh sweat is walking and so is Milton Williams. Trade Bryce huff and Eagles will have the space to sign Baun and Garret long term. They already have 18 million to spend right now.
@@zacharyminor9593yeah, good luck with that. There are 31 teams who would like to trade for Myles. I trust Howie to get these trades done. We also have a front office connection with the Browns. Several of their upper management people were trained by the eagles front office and have great relationships with Roseman.
@@Btrill03I hear what you’re saying but it’s an organizational philosophy to not pay linebackers. They didn’t even pay Trotter Sr and let him walk. He came back but he didn’t get paid big money here.
The Eagles need them? I thought the Eagles were good enough to beat the Chiefs this year. People don’t wanna admit that the Chiefs are far away the best team in the NFL.

Myles Garrett and Jalen Carter together would be nightmarish to say the least
They will veto it. They not gone let us get him
Walking to another SB if he joins

Brother if the eagles get Myles Garrett…….they’re being the nfc favorites every year to reach the superbowl.
As an Eagles fan if we got Garrett I don't even know what I’d do with myself lol but I know that we would be SB favorites every single year
You touch yourself you dirty boy
Getting Myles is a pipe dream as a birds fan
It's really not. It is very possible. Never doubt what Howie can do

i dont see them trading him to an AFC team.

Simple "HOWIE ROSEMAN".Cap wizard.
Howie pays his players upfront so every year after the contract they get more cap space

Hitting in the draft replaces talent! Kelce retired with a cap of like $16 mil and now jurgens plays for like 5 mil with very little play drop off
Garrett probably talkin' to everyone at the Pro Bowl (especially Mayfield) and realizing the best option is probably to leave. Sucks because they have a two time COTY.
Injury makes all that mute. Early rookie contract offers less financial risk vs veteran contacts if they are injured
Myles + Nolan with pocket collapsing push from JC....Eagles pass defense would go back to back #1 in the league.

Garrett on the opposite side of Bosa would be sweet. Let’s make it happen Lynch and Shanahan
If the eagles traded for Garrett, they would have the greatest defense of all time next year. I don’t know about anything after. But next year would be the only team that could be greater than that 2000 ravens defense
I would love the Eagles to get him but what would it cost?
Extend the Sweat contract and then trade sweat + a 2nd round pick for garret
Myles was in the playoffs last year 2 tackles 0 sacks
49ers have the 11th pick, draft flexibility, not in the AFC and playing with Bosa, Warner and in Saleh's system
🦅
I’m sure Jerry Jones will pretend he’ll have a look because he’s all in
If we win the Sb, stand Pat.
If we lose, go all in for Garret
A 2025 and 2026 1st rounder
If the Eagles win Sunday I dont think they will be shopping as much so I dont see it, but if they lose I could easily see it happen.

I’d rather trade up for Abdul Carter.
I can see Howie convincing the Giants to trade their 1st round pick to the Browns to bring Garrett to the Eagles.
That’s really funny.
What are they going to give up for him?
Vikings should tag/trade Darnold and draft compensation for him. They easily have the cap space and it would give the Browns a qb while also allowing them to draft Abdul Carter at 2nd overall

Eagles are most likely drafting a defensive lineman with 1st pick this yr anyway, so why not trade this yr's 1 and next yrs 2 for Myles
Lions
Eagles need a DE after the season anyways. Sweat will probably be gone unless they resign him.
Eagles defense with Myles Garrett? Just pencil them for another super bowl
He gonna get traded for a haul. They just mentioned half a dozen teams that would be instant contenders if they got him. Biddding war will be crazy
