MERCEDES SLK 350 BREAKS DOWN BEFORE BUYER CAN DRIVE OFF

Talk about your all-time bad beats. Watch as I describe the selling process of my recently acquired Mercedes SLK 350 and how we nearly lost our shirts fixing and selling this car.

Sounds like you knew there was an issue when you first noticed it and tried to sell it any way 🤥. Pinnichio..... Would you have accepted the car back for refund had it happened the next day? I guess that's the chance you take if not under warrenty ..

Nope. It was a one off issue that corrected itself and then fully broke when buyer tried to drive it away. We paid for the full repair ($3k) and sold to the same buyer for only an additional $500.

He did know. He even says at 1:17 it happened to him before he tried to scam the buyer.

I see your in the ml55, are just adding PW fluid every couple days like I do?

Yes sort’ve. I’ve used a bunch of Lucas Power Steering leak stop and it’s working pretty good. Added one small bottle, and some more PS fluid. Been pretty solid for the last month plus.

Sounds like a conductor plate issue

You nailed it. Unfortunately only Mercedes dealer could fix and it was about $3k.

@@HacktivistMechanic that’s what I was quoted as well but I dropped the valve body myself on simple car jacks…separated the conductor plate an sent away for speed sensor replacement ended up costing me $ 400
