I love Central Oregon! My wife and I have considered moving there numerous times. We actually got married at Eagle Crest back in 2013. How long have you been there?
@jennymay 8803 hey Jenny I just bought some land about 30 miles from Klamath falls, don’t know anyone in Oregon at all, would you be willing to discuss some stuff regarding living in southern Oregon? How did you relocation go? What’s your opinion on the area after living there for a while?
My wife and I moved from San Diego a year in a half ago. I retired from Vons/Albertsons. We love it here. People are nice. Great fishing and it pretty chill.
How bad is the State tax? that's the one thing kinda making me apprehensive about moving there. I'm in Florida but this place has become unlivable basically, so expensive. Sure no state tax but we have sales tax and insurance is getting ridiculous. Also the current governor is a bit um, 'controversial.'
Blahhhhh were being taxed to death in Oregon. But no sales tax but justcas worse is new tolls going in 2024 that will affect every single person who lives or travels into this state.
Try not to eat out as much. There's a fuck ton of food on campus. Definitely makes it hard to resist, also don't buy most college merch because u guarantee you, you can find most of in in store. So avoid like beaver or duck shirts
I like the 'no sales tax', that's like here in Alaska.
This was very helpful to answer everything I was wondering about. Thank you.
I really had no idea that Oregon had so much more until my position changed and my district is now Central, Oregon. Beautiful drives!

Considering moving from the Fresno California area. Any further advice after you’ve been there six months?
I'm moving to boardman for a job. This helps
I love the dry desert of Klamath basin versus the wetlands over there by Portland
