he talked about it in an interview with ariel helwani. he turned down a couple fights with guys lower than him like uriah hall(im assuming khamzat chimiev) and somebody else i cant remember. he was saying he wanted to fight people like dominic reyes at 205, guys above him at 185 to work towards a title shot. and the ufc said F that chit you just lost 3 in a row nxgga, gtfo! and he also probably has a really high paying contract.( assuming its like 200k to show minimum given his tenure and rank.)
