Thank you for the info brother, it gave me an eye view on where to place and how much it affect the swingweight and overall balance. For now im still customizing my old school racket and its a trial and more trials but so far im getting the result that i wanted esp when i watched your video. Keep it up!
10g to the racquet? surely that includes the counterweight in the handle or butt of racquet to maintain the balance of the racquet, even though thats still a lot, add a dampener that another 4g... Just by adding 2g to the 12 makes a huge difference. I doubt this guy will be able to control the power, increasing your racquet static weight greatly affects your ability to obtain the required swing speed you need to get the required spin to keep the ball in. If this guy wants more power than using al lot of lead is not the main answer, I would tell the guy to change his string setup to get more power, perhaps use a hybrid with a multi or gut on the crosses for power plus comfort and a poly on the mains for control and spin. With lead tape I have learn't, less is more, in other words you can get the benefits without being it a detriment to your required swing speed, I learn't this the hard way. Perhaps 2g of tape at 10am and 2pm in the hoop with 4g in the handle to maintain the balance will be all thats needed to get some more power ( but not too much), stability, plough through and maintain manoeuvrability without increasing the static weight too much so the required swing speed can be achieved. I only use 1.5g at 9 and 3 on my Ezone 98 and a rubber band as a vibration dampener as it only weighs 1g as opposed to some rubber ones that weigh 5g. It may not sound like much but it all adds up with the over gip you use especially if its leather.

Nice pro video!!
Awesome! Thanks! Also love the Santorini poster behind you…I’m from Crete. We’re next to Santorini
Nice Video, but please turn down that music a little bit next time. Really made the video unpleasant to watch at times.
Content was great though.

So if you have two racquets with the same parameters except static weight, what will you feel differently?
I am new in rackets customization. How much weight should I start with?
Boy, I think it was a good video. Couldn't hear him over the music.
