@@NorthGermanic It's not a thing, it's the guitar's locking system =) Because it has a Floyd Rose, the strings need to stay in their position, so you lock the strings up so that the Floyd doesn't pull on the actual tuners of the headstock of the guitar. That would cause de-tuning.

Last week's 'Thrash Riffs' and your 'Easy Riff's lists are my two favourites of your Riffs Series. I watch all of your Riffs Series and always come across songs I haven't tried to play before, so not only do I discover new music, but also a new song to learn. Thank you for the music :) Bodom, Slayer, Rammstein, Megadeth and of course Metallica, featured heavily in my early days (and now, many years later) - even if I had to play the songs slower than the record! Angels don't kill, Dead skin mask, Walk, Roots and Seasons in the abyss were a few of my favourites. [I love your Schechter Apocalypse. I'd ordered one a year ago, but had to cancel because of a lengthy waiting list. Someday I shall find one!]

A combination of the two must have been the reasons for the lengthy delay. I did eventually get a guitar (after about 9 months) - a road flare red Ibanez RG550 that 'only' took about six weeks to arrive. Is your ESP coming from another country? 6 months is quite a long wait, but some things are worth waiting for!
I am getting treatment for my shoulder so that I get back to my actual speed back in 2017. I slowed down between 2018-2020 because I graduated and had a growing pain in my shoulder. It was really hard to fight back 😅

I'm not a huge Slayer fan, but God Hates Us All is a damn good album, and that Bloodline riff is great. It's such an earworm. xD Loved hearing Roots Bloody Roots in there. So simple but so cool! Fantastic choices all round. A really tightly constructed list of groove-heavy awesomeness and awesome tone too. \m/ The Apocalypse is sounding amazing! That might be the only CoB riff I feel capable of haha, but it's about time I learned some Bodom. Must try that one and then see what else I can do. Your videos always make me want to try new stuff and push myself to improve. Thank you for the constant inspiration! :)
