I remember Joey and Davey being seen on "Elmo Says Boo!", and Lefty the Salesman being seen in "The Monster at the End of this Book". For some reason (at 24 years old) I still have them both.
Over the summer, I worked with our childcare center's toddlers. By the end of the day, it was just me and one little boy. One of his favorite things to do with me was watch vintage Sesame Street clips. The Frazzle was actually one of his favorites. He loved going "BLAAAHBLBLBLAAA" with him.
Frazzle was always my favorite one, even when I was little I liked the scary monsters: my favorite Land Before Time character was Sharp Tooth, my favorite character from Gremlins 2 was Mohawk (the scariest, most evil looking gremlin) & my favorite Sesame Street Muppet was Frazzle
Little Chrissy is almost like a Muppet version of Little Richard! And I remember Kingston! His song “Be Yourself” is one of my favorite Sesame Street songs from the past seasons!

Frazzle was included as a monster piece for a colorforms set from "The Count's Counting Castle". I received this as a Christmas gift in 1980 and played with it constantly. My fav colorform.
The Harvey Kneeslapper skit I most vividly remember is when Ernie is playing Robin Hood, and Harvey shows up to sign up as one of the "Merry Men". But Ernie finds him so insufferable, he decides to switch to "Robin Hood and His Angry Men" instead.

LOVED Little Chrissy! And that reminds me-- what was the name of the muppet who sang Telephone Rock?
And yes, the humans were awesome! My favs were Gina and Savion, but I also did love Maria and Luis and Susan and Gordon... Mr. Hooper... Bob.... ok I'm pretty much listing them all. Oh I just remembered for awhile they had kid groups-- the Birdketeers and Grouchketeers-- possible compilation idea?
“Wait...whose the shady looking guy in the overcoat trying to sell me something?”🤣
I remember Lefty, I'm slightly worried by the phrase "unloading his junk" though 🙈
uh.....why?
I think that Frazzle is good for children is because he always very kind and thoughtful. When I First saw Frazzle I thought he was scary!
