This is a demonstration of how I use Synthesiser V from Dreamtonics to arrange for my choir. There are lots of subtleties that I haven't looked at here, but it's just an overview of the sort of thing that is possible.

A very interesting discourse and demonstration. I am a newbie to Synthesizer V but it's got a lot of potential right out of the box. Thanks for sharing. Thumbs up.

Great to know that exporting midixml from Dorico into logic and then exporting midi from Logic preserves the lyrics into SynthV. I was wondering about a good workflow without duplicating too much. Thanks for this great demonstration

Dorico midi export indeed does not yet support lyrics, I understood from the Dorico forum that the midi export is using the playback engine and that does not have any lyric information

Just a correction, Dreamtonics is a Japanese company, not a Chinese company

Hey just for a little help, for words like birthday you can put the word on one note, and use a + on the next note. Along with a - to continue the note. 😊

Ah, thanks, I'm aware of that, but that's not the way I work. I've already input all the lyrics because I'm publishing the arrangements, so I pull them in within the MIDI file.

What are the best voices to create a 4 part classical sounding choir?
