I always liked all the additional Dreadnok characters they introduced. They have some good stories in the comics too.

Never understood why Zarana's "French bun" was ever a separate piece to begin with. I've always theorized that she was originally meant to have some wig "disguises" and the bun could be removed to plug other hairpieces in its place.

I found that weird that anyone would fall in love with Zarana disguise or not?

I never realized that Zarana changed color to. Great video.

Zartan also had a daughter and some cousins who were three triplets who had a grudge match with Beachhead and Cobra commander, which I sort of found a bit gross..

Was it ever confirmed that they were deliberately used together? The theory I'd always heard was that the color change chemicals caused the fusing over time. The only reason I could think of for Hasbro to specifically seal these toys would be to prevent children from disassembling and swallowing the parts with the chemicals.

So far, there's no official reason for Zartan and his siblings chests being fused together. If it's something that happens naturally, why doesn't the head and arms fuse as well? More likely it's a factory measure, but how is swallowing chemicals any different from the normal plastic figure being a small parts choking hazard? One day an official answer will come to light, and maybe I'll make a vlog about it...

Valid point on the arms and head that I'd never considered, makes it more likely they were deliberately sealed. Hasbro may have been playing it safe "in case", even so without an official reason we can only best guess.

That thing sticking out of Zarana's backpack looks like the mold from the B.A.T laser.

I'm now noticing the various colors on the cards... Haha. Maybe it's because you're talking about very colorful characters. Why does Flint have grey, Cobra Commander have purple, the BATs have green, etc.? Are these years? Is there a pattern?

There's no pattern to the colored fields on the backer cards. Most of them are contrasting colors to the figures to make them visually appealing but separate from the artwork.

I read somewhere that Zaranas head had to be changed, because it wasn't feminine enough. I took it with a grain of salt. I always thought the object sticking out of her backpack was a German potato masher granade.
Zandar is an all around bad ass, I wish that Hasbro would have done more with him, in the cartoon.

You're right, the thing sticking out of Zarana's backpack does look like a stick grenade! Yes, it's a shame about Zandar not being more developed. In the cartoon he was always serious and never used as comic-relief like the others.

great video . is it ever noted that the neck scarf on Zandar is from the torn shirt on Zarana ? it kinda creepy to think but it would also explain the matching ear-rings in the earlier production Zarana that they have some odd brother, sister thing going on. but I guess Hasbro didn't want to copy the Crimson twin gimmick

Hey formbx257. Do you have a review video of the 1986 LCV Recon Sled?
