Just found out Harbor Freight does Rain Checks so you can get sold out sale items at Sale prices when they get more of the item.

Yes, the raincheck option is only offered when a HF employee is asked about it. I've learned about that option years ago. And yes, you are correct, they do not openly advertise or offer rain check coupons. The rain check coupons are only used for discouraging customer disputes to maintain a healthy relationship with the costumers. To be honest, HF has an excellent reputation with customer satisfaction. Hell, most of the employees will just give the pertinent coupon at the counter if you even mention it.
